au where fiore and caules are involved in the fate 5th war instead of team caster - sakura sees two siblings with a completely healthy relationship and her brain literally implodes

I love Fiore and Caules as well as Sakura but I can’t help but laugh at the idea of messaging a blog called castermedea about removing Team Caster from FSN. Just to be clear I’m not upset in any way, I just was not expecting to see that in my inbox lmao

Seriously though, I feel as if Sakura already knows what a healthy sibling relationship looks like. She has a good number of friends at the school and, in particular, Ayako Mitsuzuri and her younger brother Minori get along rather well. And since they’re both friends of Sakura as well as members of the Archery Club, it’s hard to believe she doesn’t know what a healthy sibling relationship is like.

The issue lies more in how she wants to believe that Shinji has good in him, even though he constantly treats her like shit. Rather, Sakura sees the little good that actually is there and because of that she can’t hate or dislike him. She knows that the things he does is shitty, but she chooses to endure them and bottle up her emotions instead of calling him out. After UBW and in FHA it’s implied that this changes: she still supports Shinji, but he’s not allowed to get away with as much as he did before.

And as for the relationship between Rin and Sakura as sisters is actually pretty healthy when you take into account that if other magi realize they’re sisters, they’re likely to get Sealing Designations. Which means death. It’s certainly not what could be considered healthy under normal family circumstances, and there was definitely a lot that both of them could do to improve their relationships, but since they were 6 and 7 when separated… Yeah.

As for Fiore and Caules, I only read about a third of the way into volume three, but from what I saw it felt… Emotionally empty compared to Rin and Sakura. This is to be expected since Caules and Fiore are more magi-like than Rin and Sakura, meaning that emotional attachments are frowned upon. Caules said that if he won the War he would bring Fiore back, but he also says that she wouldn’t do the same for him. And it didn’t feel to me like Caules would emotionally collapse if Fiore died, but that he would revive her because she’s a more suitable head for the family.

This is all just my thoughts and interpretations of course, but I don’t think Sakura would be enlightened upon seeing Fiore and Caules together, especially since Shinji was the one involved with the war instead of Sakura.
