The New Daughter: Dances With Wolves has a teenage daughter gone wild giving birth to all manner of hybrid-werewolf-vampire-cavecreature-greasemonsters. This one was a shocker as it is actually great. I think I am just saying that because I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED the ending, but I did get that far so it had to be pretty good. Mr. Waterworld moves his kids to some crappy town for no apparent reason after a recent divorce. Their new home just happens to be built on a Native American burial mound (great choice, right?). The daughter communes with the mound and becomes a real handful. Robin Hood thinks it is lady problems, but the truth is its not as bad as that. She is just possessed by demon/god monsters. The monsters live in a cave so the Descent fan in me was instantly happy. They appear to be some variation on the classic humanoid-people-eating-tar-monsters, but I could be mistaken. They are however, VERY SCARY! Like I said, the ending is amazing and I kept waiting for another scene to pop up and make it lame, but no, it ends AWESOME! If nothing else just watch the last 10 minutes, I gave you enough info here to appreciate the ending.
