(Don't feel pressured to answer this right away if you're not answering imagines/hcs atm, it's nothing urgent) Do you think your DL story would have took a different turn if when Sans first spoke to reader on the street, when he tried to scare her off after she just helped Papyrus with his laundry, but instead of looking shocked and showing she got scared she got angry at him and got defensive and tried to scare him off back by glaring at him while telling him to f*** off but in a nice way? (1)
Nothing mean or rude, just a ‘look idk what your problem dude but I didn’t do anything to you heck I don’t even know you so back off and leave me alone’ kind of wording. Would that have screwed up her chances of getting close to him in the future? Or him liking/tolerating her at all? (obviously reader is a nice person deep down but she doesn’t wanna take s*** from anyone so she portrays a attitude when she feels cornered) (2)

I answered something a little like this before, so while I’d say it wouldn’t be a hard and fast screw-up to the future relationship, it’d definitely have made things more complicated– because Sans probably would’ve escalated his bastardry trying to figure out where her ‘spook’ threshold was, trying to get a handle on the situation, which would obviously make that bridge of trust a lot harder to build than in the situation that played out.
He’d have respected her boldness at least, but then he would’ve acted like Even More Of A Bastard than he already was, and he was already pretty much of a bastard, so she’d have a much harder time coming to like and trust him in the future with even more bad blood between them.
So…we’re talking probably an additional 10-15 chapters tacked on just to deal with Reader’s trust issues and relationship building that would be necessary to get back to the same place with somebody who went that far out of his way to try and intimidate her, as opposed to the 5-6 we have now of slight mistrust and awkward peace accords before things got better.
But obviously, that’s a moot point because long story short: things played out the way they played out and this ain’t a Choose Your Own Adventure story– I will choose your adventure and it’s all you get, take it or leave it! XD
You are my light in the void. My warmth in the coldest of winters.
this duet between iMe and Top Combine's leader Zhang Yuan (or Bird) is almost cloyingly sweet - not exactly cutesy but just warm and drippy with schmaltz. lots of it.
(here's the music video!)
I figured that one day, I'd need to post some super mainstream pop...so here's Top Combine's 2008 hit, Cotton Candy! the song is so overpoweringly cute and the lyrics so saccharine that listening to it might actually give you cavities.
extra fact: one member, Xueyang, originally composed the song for the girl he liked, but he was rejected. (and here's their music video!)
