One time I went to the dentist when I was little and got a cavity filled and I was terrified bc I'd never gotten a cavity filled and my mom yelled at me for getting one (even though it was partially her fault for not paying for sealant but what ever) but they gave me laughing gas.

So as any child who was brought up in a theater centered household the only thing I could think of was the scene in Little Shop of Horrors where Seymour kills the dentist with the gas and I was so scared it was gonna get stuck on my face and I was gonna asphyxiate.

It didn't. I'm still alive but moral of the story is. Brush your teeth well, pay for sealant, and don't show your cavity bound child Little Shop of Horrors!

Now I know I’m not really known for things outside fandoms and reblogs with vague commentary from myself but I wanted to share a story.. have fun ig

this all started with the normal little kid talk with my younger siblings asking my mom why they have to brush their teeth etc etc those who have been around little kids should know how this goes but my mom being the person she is (a very enthusiastic woman when about education) wants to do an experiment to show what happens and how you get cavities. She doesn’t know what still and it’s been a couple days and she brought up the conversation with me. As a horror fan enthusiast who isn’t really that squeamish the only idea I could come up with was to kill an animal (I live somewhere where it would be absolutely no problem) and take their bones to let them sit in food water or cotton candy water (each where there is more food than water) for at least 30 minutes then to take them out and put in a separate container. In one container with a bone I would mist it with water every day for a month and in another container I would leave it alone (other than the food water mixture) and let it sit for 30 days then see the end result. I’m not sure if this would work or not.
