I got the idea from @eakkspeed. Rather than have the bikes in the rocks, @higgspeed and I got 3/4 sheets of wood and made our own platforms for our bikes. I stained the wood for now but I do plan on taking my router and tapering the edges. After that a nice coat of clear resin to make for an easy to clean surface. I just love ‘80’s sports bikes! This recently purchased 1980 Honda CB900C is no exception. She’s a big girl with some flaws and a leak 😅 but almost all original. This build though is something entirely different from my other bikes. This wont just get paint and cosmetic upgrades, nope. She’s getting a no budget build that include R6 front forks. Öhlins rear coilovers. Keihin CR33 carbs(same company that makes Hondas Moto GP and F1 carbs) and a complete chassis rewire.
