important information!

hello lovely members!

thank you to those who voted in our poll. we’ve taken the poll into consideration and have had long discussions regarding the future of this group. 

when we made this group it was just an idea in our heads to do a cbb related group. admin a and i had both been away from tumblr roleplay for many years and wanted to come back and create something. cbb was something we had thought up and had no prior knowledge of another cbb group existing. 

we were unaware of how the last cbb group was ran and due to the toxicity of it, have been struggling in our own because we keep getting associated with them. 

due to all of the above, we have decided to make a big change. this group will no longer be a cbb group and we are beginning to make changes now. we are working on a revamp and expect to have it up soon. 

the new group will be a private community for celebrities to escape to. no outside world allowed in, no paparazzi, just a place for them to go to when it all gets to be too much. there will be plenty to go off and do within the community, and no cameras. the gossip blog will be within the community, for the community. kind of the same idea as lady whistledown. they will all be living in one house and still have roommates, but may apply for their own house if they wish.

event 001

a big brother pool party. 

Who’s ready for a night of fun, dancing, splashing around and live music? we have hired a dj especially for you celebs. there’ll be bartenders on site and the pool will have lights, inflatables and cupholders. be prepared for a night of dancing, drinking and lots of fun. 

this event will be happening saturday may 13th at 12pm eastern time until tuesday 17th at 9pm eastern time. this will be taking place on the dash and on discord. so all other conversations should be drafted and paused until this is over. we will be using the tag cbbrppoolparty for starters during this event and cbbrppoolmisc for any outfits, musings, self paras you wish to post for this event. please join in and don’t be scared to bring in drama and make our first event truly memorable. we’re looking forward to it and we hope you can join in too.

hello lovely members!! we’d like to offer someone something exciting. we have decided to open up an application to add another admin on the team!

we would love for this person to have a strong presence on the main and be able to be on the main every other day at least, if not everyday. all day is not required obviously. but making posts here and there and helping with advertising and anything that comes our way in the inbox. we would also prefer for this person to be comfortable making posts on the gossip blog as well.

hello housemates, it’s time for our first task/video diary! this week the prompt is; how’s it going? it’s been our first week here, first few days for some of you. we want to know how you’re all getting on. who’s tickling your fancy, and who’s pushing your buttons? the viewers want a tell all. we look forwards to hearing from you, cbb x

your diary doesn’t have to be extremely long, and you can ramble or be straight to the point. but please make sure to tag it with cbbrpvideodiary. we’d like to see these all done by monday 9th May, 9pm EST. this is a mandatory task. we want to help you progress with character development and we think these video diaries are an amazing way to do it. and to those of you we’ve seen writing umprompted video diaries, we absolutely love it!! and if you want that to count for the task, please just put the tag on it and it’ll count. and if you’re not sure what to write, we have a few questions that’ll help you along the way.

hi all ! firstly i just want to say we appreciate you all so much and think you’re all amazing and thank you for keeping us running for a month. secondly, apps coming in are getting slower and slower and we really don’t want to die yet, but we also don’t want to switch anything up without your approval first. we were in discussion of changing the plot. no more cameras or just one house with the amount of limitations that gives us. we want our characters to have more creative freedom. so the plot we’re suggesting instead is more of a gated community. a safehaven for your celebrities. no cameras this time so the limitation of what your celeb would or wouldn’t do on camera is gone. it’s a small community that celebs sign up for to get away from the public and the paps and live a semi normal life. the only catch is the community has it’s own gossip site, but just the one and the gossip posted on it is kept between the celebs of the community only. it’s gonna be a whole town and the celebs can leave whenever they like so there’s so much more to do ! that being said, we did work hard on cbb as well and if members like it the way it is then we’ll keep it running just as this and try and do some more tasks, events, maybe make it appless/ whatever else we can think of. to vote the poll is here, we’d really love to hear your thoughts before making a big decision !

the event is officially over, however if you’d like to continue some threads on discord that’s absolutely fine, but the majority of the rp should be back on the dash now and we will be looking at dash activity again from today.
