I just watched CBC’s “Bellevue” and now I’m feeling like I just went through a rollercoaster of feels. It’s really intense and tragic and yeah, messed up too, not gonna lie, but it was really well executed, epecially the themes the series dealt with like transgender, incest, etc. Definitely worth a watch.
Ahhh because of your rec on shipcestuous I binge watched Bellevue and holy shit I was so into it?? And I came out shipping Peter and Annie so hard! Right from the start actually! I knew there was sth :D! Question: do you think Annie knew what Peter wanted to tell her at the end? I can't decide on it...(yay to problematic ships haha)
I’m sososo happy someone followed my rec because honestly, this series was so underrated. O_o And now I know there are other fans and shippers out there. <3

I know, right?!?!?! Their interaction in the first two episode (especially when she showed him what Adam had written on her car) gave me such a ship-vibe that I didn’t even try to ship anything else. xD

The writers were quite clever in planting subtle hints of their relationship and what they felt for each other, esp. Peter’s feelings. Later on they didn’t even try to be subtle anymore but blatantly pushed them into our faces. LOL, I was so shocked when Adam outright told Peter that he knew. \o/
Question: do you think Annie knew what Peter wanted to tell her at the end? I can’t decide on it…
The whole case and then the thing with Adam had brought out feelings in her and Peter and between them that had been kept under lock for so long, and so I think she had an inkling or at least she knew that whatever he was going to tell would really turn her world upside down once again.
When they show her turning around in the car in the last scene, I want to believe that she was at a crossroads. Part of her wants to solve the puzzle and put the pieces together that Peter gave her in his speech but another part of her rather wants to stay blissfully ignorant though that’s not really her.
That is all Eddie. I’m not a fan of Eddie, he’s the worst choice for her to stay with (look what she did to her arm again, he didn’t prevent it), so I like to think that in the fandom version, her mind disobeys her and puts two and two together and realizes what Peter wanted to say. This is the point where fanfiction should come in.
Might have to write it because ever since the finale this is all I could think about. -_-
