Wave is such a well written manipulator. He sits on the line between goofy and threatening perfectly. Punko really outdid herself when writing him.

the art that punko made of wave from the patreon is making me feel things... i forgot he was conventionally attractive...

I dont like seahorse. And im glad it will never be cannon because shows where all the main characters get together SUCK

I will admit I was pretty indifferent to Wave until now, like it was a sort of "sure he is there i guess" some stuff he did or said was funny but thats it, even the backstory didn't really make me empathise too much with him and i didn't ship him with Deacon(altho I see how people can ship them)
but now? that there might be the possibility that it was all an act and he is trying to possibility sabotage and spy the gang? oh he became a lot more interesting to me! there now is the possibility that he could be actually in cohoots with the old man or forced to do it while still being complicit and trying to possibily get information about our gang!
i really hope the whole "dumb as a rock" was mostly an act and the guy is actually smarter than he looks and that his backstory is at least partially fabricated
i still think and hope he is redeemable and will actually betray the old man

Wave being evil just made seahorse way more interesting
