Remus leaned back against the side of the stone wall, tucked under a large alcove that looked out over the vast expanse of highlands surrounding the castle. He exhaled, a cloud of smoke escaping his lips as he faced away from the noise of students chatting loudly as they walked back inside the castle. It was nearly nine, and according to the itinerary the werewolf had received at the start of the evening, they were due to head to their accommodations shortly.

Had it really only been a few hours since orientation had begun? It had seemed much longer, surrounded by new and unfamiliar faces, all of them moving around each other in a sort of arranged dance that he was quickly realizing he had never learned the choreography to. He took a long drag instead of lingering on the thought, attempting to push aside the steady ache that pulled at his bones with the rapidly approaching full moon. Glancing offhandedly to his left, his back straightened as he spotted a familiar figure of a girl walking by: Caroline Brown, if he had remembered correctly. She was in his orientation group, the pair having met in Hogsmeade earlier that day. Fortunately for the werewolf, he didn’t see any sign of the other auburn haired witch at the girl’s side. She had made it clear when they had first met that she wasn’t fond of Remus, and he had been quick to keep his distance, politely lingering towards the back of the group throughout their tour of the village. Remus hesitated only for a moment before moving to stand, lifting his chin.

“Hey, Caroline-” Remus called, lowering his cigarette and putting it out with a quick wave of his hand. “Sorry. I don’t mean to bother you.” He walked closer to the girl, pulling down at the sleeve of his sweater in an effort to cover the exposed edges of scars. It had been more difficult to hide the ones that were dashed across his face. Swallowing his nerves, the werewolf stepped closer to the other witch, a softer expression on his face.

“Do you happen to know where we have to go to get to the Charms corridor tonight? I lost the others earlier and I wasn’t sure.”

Anyway...I just came across a post hating on Donald and I clicked on the OP blog and like 3 posts after all the trash talking about Donald she had reblogged a post of Chris Brown and tagged it "daddy". Does anyone else see the irony or is it just me?
