thinking about 5undy again.

I was reading some tumblr posts and saw people recounting that time fundy bought a ring for 5up. I watched that vod the week it came out. It's weird to think that was so long ago. It feels very recent but also like a distant memory.

I think this is getting less and less about 5undy and more about the constant passage of time idk.

Sometimes I wish people were more parasocial about them because I am chronically nosy and would love to know what happened, but it's probably for the better that weren't.

Anyways, semi-related, is 5up aromantic? I feel like I remember that being said at some point around that time but I could be making that up.

I met 5up the other day and I think he got me sick because he said o stream a few days later that he was sick and now I cannot get up

I have only ever found mcyt thanks to 5up. If it wasn’t for his silly among us streams I would have never started watching tubbo, and if it wasn’t for tubbo youtube would have never recommended hermitcraft to me. So 5up basically formed my entire personality, among us to minecraft pipeline is real.

the 5undy breakup is the only fandom drama I've ever been invested in. It's been years, and I still so badly want to know what happened there. Neither of them had rabid enough fans for that to be the issue, so you know that shit is personal. 5undy was my everything back in the day. I'm still not normal about them

It’s a long story, but I only ever got into mcyt because of Among Us. I got suggested AU videos in autumn of 2020, and went on to watch 5up on stream basically all the time afterwards. Because of him I learned about Tubbo and DSMP, and only because of watching DSMP got recommended Hermitcraft by youtube when season 8 started. And now Hermitcraft is like half my personality. All thanks to that one pink man (who is still basically the only person I watch on twitch)

all minecraft events and also the lobbies that 5up puts together have my whole heart, i absolutely love seeing all my favourite creators interact with each other. I am/have been part of so many different area of mcyt that i am just always so delighted when they happen to have overlap somewhere :D

I occasionally get fed up with 5up. But one time specifically he made a tweet which felt super entitled and it annoyed me really bad. To let my annoyance out I looked up his twitch analytics watched all the red numbers of his followers and views dropping and cackled at it for a good five minutes. I don’t know what came over me. I don’t actually hate the guy I just snapped.
