the absolute best devildice ship trope in the show should be they’re married, and try to hide it, but the closet is glass.
Example:
Scene: The devil is boasting about how he and Dice got the most souls this year
Devil: Of course, I collected all the souls, while my loyal husba-servant King Dice made them all sign the contracts.
and when he gets to the King Dice part, he wraps his tail around him while Dice is just there, smug af

Cuphead Boss Headcanons!
Just a few personal headcanons for every Inkwell Isle One boss! Each boss will have about 5-7 headcanons about them. (I won’t really say anything about sexuality or gender, since that’s a really disputed topic.) Anyway, let’s begin! (This is part 1/5 btw)
The Root Pack
Sal Spudder
He owns a fedora
He can play the saxophone (badly)
Surprisingly, he’s better at gardening than any of the others.
He knows how to deal with panic attacks
He considers himself a ladies man (he is not)
Ollie Bulb
Same as Sal, he likes to garden, but prefers to plant flowers instead of crops.
He can also make flower crowns
He’s really gentle towards animals, and thinks they’re cute
He likes to cook!
He isn’t so much a cry baby, as just really nervous 99% of the time
Chauncey Chauteney
He does have minor physic powers, but most of the time, he’s faking it.
He runs a stand that people come to, to have their futures seen (i mean gotta make money somehow)
He doesn’t enjoy gardening as much as the others, but likes it when he’s stressed
The forehead wrinkles come from stress.
May not be a psychic, but he is WEIRDLY good at guessing anything
Goopy Le Grande (I forgot him at first)
He can write, and read, but his reading level is that of a. a. a fifth grader
He can give himself arms, but his shapeshifting is limited to animals and limbs
He’s very friendly, but you Do Not want to be on his bad side
His deal with the Devil was for strength, similar to Cagney.
He’s a distinguished gentleman (Have you seen his intro??)
Ribby and Croaks
Croaks is taller, older, and way more hot headed than Ribby.
Ribby, on the other hand, is a jokester, more laidback, and is (surprisingly) better than Croaks at boxing
They own an entertainment boat, and while they might put on a show sometimes, they’re more of the managers/bouncers
They’ve got a Sans/Papyrus brother dynamic
You can bet your ass that Ribby makes the stupidest puns known to man (frog??), and Croaks will actually tolerate them
Hilda Berg
She’s more nocturnal than anything. She’ll wake up at dusk and do whatever she wants throughout the night
She lives in the observatory, and works as both a meteorologist and astronomer.
Her deal with the Devil was so that she could fly forever, and now…
Sometimes, if she’s in a bad mood, she’ll create storms or tornadoes and send them down onto the Isles
She’s an expert on identifying constellations. She’s also found some of her own!
Cagney Carnation
He makes babies cry
He has a garden with similar plant people.
He grows the daisylings, and when they’re fully grown, they pop out of the ground and become sentient (kinda like the mandrakes from harry potter..)
His deal with the Devil was for strength and power, and now he can turn into.. that..
He can move around with “legs” but if he goes without soil for too long, his roots will start to shrivel up
