It’s a Magical AU World

Rules

Switching houses is not allowed.

Normal activity requirements are in place.

No changing your Faceclaims. We will suspend our disbelief.

There will be no advancing (no students suddenly becoming professors)

If you’re not family in CCF, then you’re not family in the AU’s. For Example: Kara and Alex are siblings in CCF, therefore they’re siblings in the AU’s. However, while the Bat-boys (Jason, Tim, and Dick) are siblings, since Steph and Barbara are not officially adopted they are not considered family. 

There are no current ships. If you fall into a relationship, that’s okay, but the point of this event is to broaden who you talk to.

No teacher/student relationships. 

Death is not permanent. If you die in the AU, it’s okay. It doesn’t mean you forfeit the character.

No one has the Marauders Map. 

There are no unregistered animagus.

There are wizards and witches that follow the old and new dark lords. It’s up to that witch or wizard to decide if they tell anyone.

This is a two-week event. 

Day 1-4 is the for the first days of classes. Meet as many people as you can. A class list will be provided as well as the faculty that teaches them.

1 - 4 It’s Gryffindor vs. Slytherin! Find a partner and head over to the quidditch pitch!

5/6 There’s boggart in the prefect bathroom! Find out who put it there and get rid of it. You can ask a faculty member for the spell if you don’t know it.

1-3 Don’t forget to visit the Honeydukes for your day at Hogsmeade.

3-6 It’s Yule Ball time. Show us your best dressed and dance the night away.

Day 10-14 End of the Year It’s time to say good-bye and announce who won the House Cup. This will be decided by activity of students. As Ravenclaw is a significantly smaller house then all others, every one of their post counts as two. When this is posted, this will signal the end of the event.

We want to thank everyone for their attendance this year. We look forward to having you all back next year. 

Now is the time to award the most popular Boy and Girl for our first Harry Potter Event. With 33 posts, from Gryffindor, Jason Todd is our top poster and most popular boy. And from Hufflepuff, with 24 posts our most popular girl is Stephanie Brown. 

Now for house post. In fourth place with 56 posts is Slytherin. In third place, with 70 posts is Ravenclaw. In second place with a 104 posts, Hufflepuff. Making this years’ house cup, with 133 posts, goes to Gryffindor.

Barry Allen's disruption to the timeline came with irrevocable changes to the timeline; all of which culminating into the cosmic collision to the affixed nature of the multiverse. A riff in the multiverse ran deeper calling all of Earth's defenders to E-1 to remedy the attack on the innocent. Crisis on Earth-X rattled the world’s stance on heroes and metas alike. Martin Stein, Laurel Lance, and the other's who sacrificed their lives, were all variables in the chain reaction of Flashpoint's affects. Throughout the cities, the course of the aforementioned timelines shattered into jagged shards that have twisted the future in inconceivable horrific ways. Oliver Queen’s identity was revealed to the world following his incarceration. The Legends miscalculations and manipulation of magical beings and Barry Allen’s bleak disappearance have all been fast tracked and thrust into play.  All of these changes have only just began to surface beyond the personal changes felt by each party affected.

With each new details revealed, the stakes have heightened. Three new threats have now been introduced to the game: The Leviathan, The Court of Owls, and The Black Rose Society.  

Talia al Ghul resurrected the tattered ruins of the League of Assassins with a new mission to destroy the very pillars of this new false worship of heroes and vigilantes. The Leviathan now operate in the shadows of every outlying city west of Blüdhaven; a crater of its former self. The vulnerability and fragility of the public opinion on Metas and Supers thrust the world into a chaotic motion.

With Gotham burnt to a crisp and dying, the Court of Owls no longer found stake in controlling such a dystopia. For the last sixty years, the court operated beneath the guise of harbinger of a new, brighter political change for Gotham. Members from select lineages have been induced by this ancient conspiracy and lightly forced the favor of their interests into Gotham’s everyday criminality.  For their agendas to be fed, there was a need for new hope and willing patrons who wished to see change in their world. City politics were beginning become to small an impact. Why not vet for the bigger prize?

The presidency.

Jonathan Horne campaign for re-elections fell right in line with the new migrations of the bats. Each sleeping Talon have awoken from their caves and have infiltrated each city. The epicenter of this new wave of change came from the beaten and bruised Lincoln March, who waited patiently for his opportunity to strike.  

No one ever questioned the whispering songs swept up in the wind. A beautiful call from depths with a sweet undertone and a bitter bite. The Black Rose Society is a deadly network of females who wish to mold the world into warriors. No longer should any woman be shackled to the whims of men. Nor should they continue to allow for said men to ruin what little chance the world had for redemptions.

With the ever changing climate of the world, the operatives of the Black Rose Society needed to widen the gap between the weaknesses of man. What better way than to transform beyond the limits of humanity. Amelia knew such majesty could be done in times of placid peace and prosperity. She wanted her roses to be the best. It didn’t take long for her to find the means for her vision. It was believed that divine miracles had been achieved through tragedy in the wake of crisis.  Who knew crisis and hardship more than Dr. Silas Stone; the man who rebuilt his son from bolts and scraps? The wiry scientist didn’t seem like the rest of the men who plagued this world; money wasn’t going to debase his reservations for the cause. Intimidation and fear alleviated the obstacle that stood in their way. Victor Stone, the infamous Titan, had been subdued and hung from the rafts like bait for his father. In exchange for their lives, Silas agreed to enhance the girls with cybernetic technologies.

In light of the sudden bursts of masked vigilantes, the Ninth Circle has contracted the Black Rose Society to weaken the ties between each faction of heroes and politicians. During their first wave of inception, Amelia Maiselle-Gautier was approached by the clandestine cabal, the Court of the Owls, to work together in reforming the dangers of the most omnipotent, affluential men who threatened their desired unity.

Important OOC Note: 

For the group, we will be publishing small blurbs that will further flush out the aforementioned groups above! 

Just for reference, the actions of the Court of Owls and the Black Rose Society will be kept very secretive to ic knowledge but the group will fully be informed about different plot points moving forward. 

The Court of Owls: we will be separately messaging people about possible plots in the next two days.

The Black Rose Society: if anyone is interested in having one of their characters to be inducted into the society or manipulated by the society--please message us.

Our Hope For Humanity event ends tonight, 7/24/21 at Midnight (12am EST). 

We ask that no new event threads are posted after this, but we highly encourage writing the active event threads to completion, or communicating with those you are writing with to discuss and headcanon what happened. 

The end of any major plot (such as the outcomes of the villains at each location, among other things) should be sent into the main via inbox or IM no later than Wednesday, 7/28, so the admins can properly post a summary of the event with the overall outcome.
