What’s dead should stay dead

Making her way back home from her training practice, Liv felt completely drained. Her harsh schedule combined with the new surroundings and her mourning process made her days extremely long and tiring. She wished for nothing more than to quit the League and remain in bed. Safely wrapped underneath her warm covers where nothing would be able to hurt her. But sadly enough life didn’t have something like that in store for her. Life wanted her to remain a Magical Hero and to work her ass off in this League of Busan and even though Liv felt like she had gotten the short end of the stick for a while now she still trusted enough in life to give this a fair chance. One day everything will be fine, she told herself. But apparently it wasn’t going to be today.
Halting in her steps when all of a sudden an eerie breeze brushed past her Liv was left feeling cold to the bone. Shivering in her place the Ex-Special Class Hero was able to see her own breath now that the temperatures have fallen so drastically. Knowing that this sudden drop wasn’t caused by any natural phenomenon Liv’s survival instincts kicked in. Hands going over to her earrings, to trigger her Magical transformation, she got them out and threw them up in the air where they exploded. Black rain pouring down on her, the liquid soon fitted together to form her black suit. The edges of her suit lighting up in gold, her eyes took on the exact same color as a spring breeze, carrying white silk and blossoms, swept in. Both the silk and blossoms attached themselves to her suit while she placed a hand over her heart. Black liquid coming loose due to the touch, it started to form her weapon -a black Katana.
Holding her Katana in her right hand Liv searched her immediate surroundings with her now golden eyes. Sensing the magical trail of destruction the Card, which had brushed by her, had left behind Liv dashed forward so she could stop it. Feeling how tired she was the moment she started to move the Hero sadly enough wasn’t allowed to let this Card be. Cards never rested, there always was one on the loose and tonight it was this fella and she was the Hero who had to stop it from wreaking havoc. Quickly being able to catch up on the bastard who had ruined her evening of rest Liv saw how the Card, which looked like a little boy in its changed form, was busy with preying on a young couple seated on a bench. Deciding to go for a stealthy attack, Liv didn’t have much time to plan it thoroughly since it could attack the humans at any given second and that was something she’d love to avoid. Busy with making half a circle around the Card, so she would be able to attack it from the back, she tightened her hold on the hilt of her trusted Katana.
