the robot is curious ( often its downfall ), and wants to know what the human is doing. Giant has seen her around && has noticed the human stays separate from others like it used to. Giant has learned that usually meant human’s were sad; && if a human were not happy, the robot would make its job making the human happy.
it crouches, enormous orbs looking her in the eye; && if Giant could look concerned, it would.
“ Sad? ”
It was the robot’s way of asking what was wrong.
