she FLINCHED AT HIS WORDS as he came over and took the gun from her hands. she didn’t consider herself the strongest individual so she needed to know how to defend herself ( or her brother ) if something ever happened. granted she knew he could take care of himself, but she would do anything to keep him safe. 

          “ I know what you said but I’m not going to just sit around here and let something happen to you           that I could have prevented! you’re my brother bucky and I know what’s out there in the world               right now; you can’t hide that from me. if something were to happen, I need to know not only                 how to defend myself, but you as well. no one messes with my brother. ” 

she paused for a second to take a breath and allow herself to calm down. SHE DIDN’T WANT TO start an argument or a fight even though she knew she was already in trouble for him catching her with the pistol in her hands. @ccrruptmind ( x )

                  tired groans escaped sam's lips as he playfully shoved at bucky's frame, pout adorning his profile as his eyes remained closed,  knowing himself how bad his snoring could get sometimes, but the kicking against his body that caused him to wake up hadn't been so much appreciated. shifting himself to now lie close to his other half, one arm now draped over his body to pull him close, wide yet sleepy grin now etched upon his profile as he playfully snuggled close to his boyfriend, squeezing him tight so that he wouldn't be able to shift away, at least he hoped he wouldn't be able to -- not to mention, he didn't want to be kicked in his sleep again.       ❝ i might snore, but you still love me. ❞     cue the kisses against bucky's neck, the smirk now obvious upon his lips as he held onto him as tight as possible ; perhaps 5am not being the best time in the morning to try and tease his boyfriend, but he had been woke up, he felt like this was his chance to get back.

                  brows furrowed towards bucky for a brief moment, trying to figure out if he was being serious or not ; yet as the gloves were thrown towards him and the opposing male told him to get in the ring and hash it out with him, he could only imagine that he was infact being completely genuine with what he said.     ❝ alright, but you should've listend to tasha --- i'm BETTER than just good. ❞     he was trying to be somewhat playful instead of being horrible, anything was better than starting yet another argument or a fight over what had happened in the past, but perhaps bucky was onto something here, maybe this would be a good way for tony to release the anger he had been bottling up. eventually putting the gloves on and allowing himself to be pulled up onto the side of the ring, he then got inside and stood opposite bucky.     ❝ sure you wanna do this, huh ? ❞

                   ( you're EVERYTHING ) that was what he wanted to say, it was what he was GOING to say before he stopped himself and his breath hitched at the back of his throat. it was like everything he felt towards bucky was coming to him all at once, it was like his heart was finally longing for him, making a move to get him again, making it OBVIOUS that the younger felt an attachment and possible LOVE for him. lump started to rise at the back of his throat, trying to regain his composure and yet, he knew if he spoke, he would more than likely completely crumble infront of the opposing male. he'd fall apart and prove that he wasn't okay, that he wasn't handling this at all -- and he had to try and stay strong considering this entire thing was his own fault, it was oliver and bucky who had the right to be UPSET.

It was the weekend and since that one night weeks ago Ray had kept in touch with the ‘stranger’ from Brooklyn. The man went by James, though when he spoke his name it seemed to not fit. Much like when Ray spoke his own name.  It was the weekend and by what he could tell trying to coax James out for a drink was a little out of the question. He seemed to be more reclusive- and to keep his ’work’ and his life he decided to do what any good friend would do.Order take out on the way over and grab a cold 6 pack of beer. It wasn’t nothing over the top, but seemed like the right thing to do. He shifted the chinese beneath his arm and the beer to the other hand. Knocking softly on the apartment door. “It ain’t whiskey but I got beer and eats.” He said with a sing song sort of tone. His blue eyes rolled upwards at the door’s peephole.
