Come Cuddle With Me || Zayn & Aubrey
Aubrey: Aubrey was resting on her bed in sweatpants most of the day, just watching pointless movies, that she couldn't even remember the plot to anymore. So, when Zayn told her to keep her company, she decided to agree and go over to his room, since she was bored and she did miss him, no matter how much she denied it to him. She stood up from her laying position and swung her legs over the bed, with a quick little bounce she jumped up and began to walk to her door to leave the room. Before she walked out fully, she picked up her phone on the way out. Making the short trip over to Zayn's room, since it was in the same hall as her's, she skipped to a stop by the front of the door, and reached her hand up to knock softly on the door. "Zayn! It's the person you missed oh so much coming to you!" She shouted through the door, with a smile on her face. She then dropped her hand and set it in the pocket of her sweatshirt, and waited for Zayn to answer the door, swinging back and forth on the back of her feet patiently.
Zayn: Mindlessly playing with the material of the bedspreads underneath him, Zayn tossed his mobile off to the side as he let himself stare at the plain wall up ahead of him. He was beyond exhausted and he was supposed to get things done within the day, but he just..didn't want too. He didn't want to have to move, he didn't want to have to explain himself, he just wanted to relax. So when the opportunity arrised, Zayn just couldn't resist himself when he had asked Aubrey to come over. He made it a lot more difficult then it had to be, but then again, so did she. That was just how they seemed to work. Always pushing and pulling, seeing who would be the first to give in. Usually, it would end up being Zayn himself, but he honestly didn't mind. Hearing the knock on his door followed by a voice that brought the ends of his lips to curve up into a smile, Zayn pushed himself to sit up right as he let out a light holler as he tried not to laugh, "It's open." He responded, but figured that the polite thing to do would be to open it himself. Getting up and out of bed, he walked over and opened the door easily as he stared down at the petite girl on the other side of the hall. "Hi." He smiled.
Aubrey: Shaking her head as she heard Zayn yell back, she was about to reach for the door, until she saw it opening it itself. She looked up quickly, and smirked at the taller boy. "Just a hi? Now, now I think I deserve more than that." She nodded slightly with a small laugh. She smirked at him, until she decided to go in for a hug herself. She walked closer to him, and wrapped her arms around him, and rested her head on his shoulder. She really did miss him while he was gone, and she just wanted to hug him to prove it. She never really spoke to him honestly and seriously all that much, so she figured in her head actions speak louder than words. As she held onto him at the doorway of his bedroom, she smiled as she pulled away slightly. "Good to see you back, Zayn." She smiled up at him, and then pulled away fully. She then made her way around him, and into his room while looking around a little. Turning back around slowly as she walked backwards with a small smirk playing on her face.
Zayn: Laughing at the girls words, he shook his head before he found Aubrey wrapping her arms around him. This only caused Zayn to wrap his arms around her waist tightly, but not to the point where it was far too tight that it became uncomfortable for her. "Hi Aubrey." He breathed out into her hair as he felt himself relax by her hold. It was unreal just how much he had missed the girl he was caught in an embrace with. Their friendship -or whatever it was that they had- probably escalated a lot quicker than most, but he honestly didn't care. He felt comfortable with her and he enjoyed the silly little banters they had back and forth just testing one another each and every time they had a conversation. The raven-haired boy didn't know why he enjoyed it so much.. but he just did. Slightly swaying them back and forth, Zayn found himself lightly chuckling into her neck before he felt her grip loosen on him only causing the same reaction from his part. "Good to be back." He responded, his hazel eyes looking down at her big brown ones. As she made her way around him, he shut the door of his room before turning back and watching Aubrey with this smirk that had his insides tingling. "What are you thinking?" He questioned, with eyebrows furrowed as he watched her very carefully. Not sure what she was planning on next.
Aubrey: Her heart was still fluttering from the hug, as she walked backwards. She wasn't quite sure, but it was still in her mind and heart, and she just wanted to go back into his arms, but for now she felt it was better to just wait. She laughed slightly with the smirk still settling on her lips, she just shrugged slightly at him before turning back around and looking around again. She studied the room, as she looked around, and she could easily spot the bed Zayn slept on. She moved over to it and rested herself on it, as she bounced a little, looking up at the boy. "How about you come over here, and then you can try to figure it out the answer to your question for yourself." Her smirk faltered from her face, as it was replaced with a simple smile. She stared at him, as she searched his eyes, trying to find some response to her actions, but still not managing to figure him out. That's the only part of him that frustrated her, she never really knew what he was thinking and she was used to being able to do that with other people, but at the same time it also drew her to him. She wanted to solve him, and be there with him, she didn't know what that meant, but she was okay with the feeling in the pit of her stomach. She pressed down on her lips together, as she stayed seated on his bed, looking straight at him.
Zayn: Watching the girl completely amused, Zayn licked at both lips at the same time as he sucked them in trying to bite back his grin. Shaking his head at her as her smirk stayed in place, Zayn just walked a few steps before stopping in his tracks just waiting for her next move. As she rested herself on the bed, Zayn rolled his eyes very playfully as he avoided looking at her. As if she didn't have him questioning every little movement she did as it was. It would be a lie to say that Zayn hadn't felt bad over the breakup of Derrick and Aubrey. He actually felt like a really terrible person for it. It wasn't like he had planned for it to happen at all. It just...did. Even after being reassured by Demi the night prior that he had nothing to be sorry for, Zayn just couldn't shake the pain away. But looking back at the girl before him, it was difficult to feel bad. And she did honestly look like she was completely unphased by the breakup, which made Zayn wonder if she was ever as into him as Derrick seemed to be with him. Letting out a dramatic sigh, the nineteen year old acted as if he was reluctantly making his way over to his bed, but in all reality, he just wanted to be close to her again. Taking his seat next to her, he looked over at her from the corner of his eyes before scooting himself to close the distance before them. He just really liked the way she had fit so well in his arms and he wanted that feeling again. So that's exactly what he did. Throwing his arm around her, Zayn pulled her in for another tight embrace just loving the warmth that radiated off of him. It was the first time he felt his insides go all crazy after a long time and in all actuality, he didn't want that feeling to ever go away. "I did miss you." He mumbled. "Like a lot and I don't know if that's weird or not. So tell me if it is." He chuckled lightly as he couldn't help the smile that came to his lips. For once, something just felt...right.
Aubrey: Watching him move to her, she shook her head slightly trying to hold in her laugh. "Just a little faster there, Malik." She teased him, as her smirk appeared on her face once again, it just seemed to never want to leave around him. Whether it was a smile or a smirk, she was just never sad around him. That was probably the main thing that she liked about him, that no matter what they talked about if it was serious, or just playful a smile was closely followed behind. She watched him move closer to her, and then took in a breath as he sat next to her, she assumed that was the closest he was going to come, but when she felt him shift closer to her, her smile threatened to grow. She turned to him with a small smile on her face, that was still fighting it's way to grow more. She was about to speak, until she felt his arm reach around her and pull her into him. Her breath caught in her throat, and her heart began to race again. She smiled into his shoulder, as her head rested there. Moving her arms around him, and placing them on his back, as if her hands belonged there, they moved without her acknowledgement. Her smile grew into his shoulder as she felt him speak, she not only heard him but she felt it. She didn't know how to explain to herself, but it just hit her. And it truly felt amazing. She shook her head lightly against him, and spoke in a soft whisper. "If it's weird then I guess we're both little weirdos, since I felt the same way." She breathed in, as she attempted to control her smile and small laughter. She just wanted to stay in his arms, it just seemed like she was meant to find her way to them. She sighed softly, as she felt bliss take over her body, breathing his scent in. Her mind racing with a million questions and thoughts but one seemed to linger than the rest. And it was just to tell her stay where she was, so she listened. She took note of her thought, and just stayed where she was in his arms, she wasn't planning on pulling away from him anytime soon, and she wasn't sure if she ever would, if she didn't know that she would have to eventually.
Zayn: With his eyes shut tightly, only allowing himself to feel rather than see, Zayn just felt himself breathe with so much peace and serenity that he hadn't felt in a while. There was always so much stress and petty problems following him everywhere he went and he never knew how to get away from them. He never knew how to be a good friend to those in need without coming off as something other than a friend, he didn't know how to be the brother he had always wanted to be, he didn't know how to be a lot of things and just the thought alone would consume him in his thoughts practically every night before he shut his eyes and let the darkness of his dreams take over him. The thoughts seemed to disappear and vapor off into thin air while his mind into a place where nothing went wrong and everything was perfect. He had no idea how it had occurred or even when it did, but Zayn stopped feeling those things whenever he spoke to Aubrey. He stopped over-analyzing every little thing that caused him sorrow and that caused him stress. The only things he seemed to worry about when he was around her were just simple things that revolved her. “Guess if I’m a weirdo, you’re a weirdo. Works for me.” He mumbled with a chuckle following. As much as he didn't want to let her go, he knew that he had too just for the sake of actually lying down and getting to what he had actually asked of her. Not only was it because he wanted to wrap his arms around her and simply just lay with her and talk to her and forget about the rest of the world, but his back had suffered slight problems from the plane right back and the pain was slowly getting worse. Letting go of her reluctantly, Zayn stood up from the bed and turned on the light that stood on his nightstand before he made his way over to the main light switching it off and then turning back to Aubrey. "You better be a good cuddler." He spoke out with a smile on his face even though he tried so hard to fight it away, "I haven't gotten good cuddles in the while, so don't let me down."
Aubrey: She felt herself drifting off slightly in his arms, not as if she was falling asleep, but as if the world was slowly going away, as if it was just him and her on this bed together right now. She sighed peacefully as the feeling consumed her, she closed her eyes, and rested and just listened and breathed. This was her happy place, right there and right now. This was all she wanted, and all she really needed. She didn't speak, feeling as if words wouldn't do anything for them right now, she was already pouring everything of her into one hug. She was like this resting, until she felt Zayn pulling away slightly, she opened her eyes and pushed herself to sit up straight again. Feeling the loss of him already take over her, she watched him move around. It slowly clicked in her mind, what he was doing, and her thought was proven true when he spoke again. A smirk played on her lips, as she nodded along with his words. "I'll let you be the judge of it.
Aubrey: "I'll let you be the judge of it." Her smirk still on her lips, she moved herself back on the bed, that she was already sitting on and rested herself down, patting the spot next to her for him to join her. She smiled as she waited and just stared up at the ceiling as she thought about where she was and what she feeling at the moment.
Zayn: Seeing the smirk come back onto her lips, Zayn licked at his lips as he sat down on the bed before slowly laying back down on his back. He laid there fore a second as well, just staring up at the ceiling before being unable to keep his eyes from her. Moving so that he was on his side as he faced her, Zayn just smiled as he looked down at her. She was really, really beautiful. Zayn knew that Aubrey was not only beautiful on the outside, but the inside as well and even though the girl wasn't necessarily his, he still felt like one of the luckiest guys ever as he laid with her just simply because it was her. "Are you comfortable?" He asked, wanting to make sure she was alright before proceeding to the actual cuddling. Waiting as patiently as he could for his answer, Zayn's fingers itched to touch her skin but he held back, as he actually looked over the girl he was laying with.
Aubrey: She was getting lost in her thoughts, as she stared at the ceiling, soundlessly. Her mind was racing still, she wanted answers but she didn't know how to ask them and she also felt like in that moment, she didn't need them, because when she looked at him when he spoke to her again... everything stopped again. None of it mattered when she looked at him, like it all just turned off. She stared at him, as she nodded slightly to his question. She bit down on her lower lip, as she was the one to move closer to him. Slowly but surely, she was the closest she could be to him, and moved one of her hands to rest on top of him. Usually she would question if she should make such a movement, but with him she didn't even think twice about it. Her hand rested softly on his side, as she snuggled her head closer to his chest, feeling like she was at home again. Every feeling from the last hug, came rushing back just like that. Almost as if someone else just snapped their fingers, and the feelings came. She breathed heavily for her first breath as she got used to her heart going at a million paces per second, as she laid there with him. She simply closed her eyes, once again as she rested, she wasn't sure what she should say for the moment that they were having but she spoke the first thing that came to her mind. "Can we just stay like this, please?" She giggled softly as the smile on her face appeared again. Her breathing coming back in place of the small giggle, but her smile still plastered on her face, refusing to leave, and seemingly making it feel like it never really would.
Zayn: Feeling Aubrey come in closer to him, Zayn wrapped his arms around her waist with no hesitation as brought her in closer to him as he closed off any space between one another. Resting the side of his face ontop of her head, Zayn let out a light sigh of complete contentment as he felt the girl in his arms breathing softly in his arms. The light smile reappeared as he shut his eyes for a small moment, just taking the entire moment and trying to remember exactly how he was feeling then and there. The last thing he wanted to do was forget. Zayn wasn't sure if this was ever going to happen again, nor did he want to think of the possibilities of never holding her in his arms as he was slowly allowing himself to get used to her presence. Zayn had always been very peculiar about the people he opened up too, always afraid he'd repeat the same mistakes and end up being the heartbroken for another time. Maybe that's why he was so closed off to the world, maybe that's why he didn't let himself fall so easily but with Aubrey... without even thinking it, Zayn believed that he had let his guard down with her because he could've sworn he was falling for her. And fast too. Hearing the girls giggles underneath him, Zayn's smile broke out, finally hearing the noise he had desperately wanted to since day one. Before being able to ask her what she was laughing about, her light voice sending light shivers through his body. "We can." He chuckled lightly, giving her a tight squeeze before going back to hugging her the way the had started. "You smell really nice." Zayn noted deciding to be a moron and dig his nose into her hair before he came back up laughing at his moronic behavior. "'m sorry. 'm tired." He laughed lightly as he looked down at the girl hoping she'd look up and meet with his eyes.
Aubrey: Her smile was still focused on her face, as her eyes stayed shut. The feeling of complete bliss only increased whenever Zayn spoke, like as if his voice was going through her body, she felt the waves of the energy leaking off his voice in herself. The fact that this particular has never happened to her before, worried her, yet excited her. She was digging herself in deeper and deeper with the boy, and she was aware of this, but at this point she didn't care. She liked being with him, in fact she liked him. So, when he spoke again, her heart raced and she sighed in a peaceful notion. "I'm happy that I please your nose." She smirked into his chest, knowing he couldn't see it, but just the presence of the smirk on her face was good enough for herself. She felt him shift slightly over her, and suddenly felt a pair of eyes on her. She opened her eyes slowly, and looked up at the boy laying next to her. She smiled softly, replacing her smirk with the smile. She stared up into his eyes, and she felt herself lose control. She melted right there in the spot, just looking into his eyes. The smile slowly drifting from her face, but the feeling of the smile never fading away. She couldn't bare to look away from his eyes, as she stared into them. It was like in that moment, she really saw them for what they were. She felt the connection between them, as she stayed silent looking at him. To control herself from moving any closer to him, she moved her hand that was rested on his side up and down, as she rubbed his side back and forth. Her eyes stayed lock on his, as her hand moved trying to feel every inch of his body. "If you're tired, you should sleep." She spoke in a soft whisper, seemingly taking awhile longer to respond to his previous statement.
Zayn: Laughing lightly, his body shaking slightly as it went through his body, Zayn rubbed at her back lightly before his hand found itself trailing up to her hair, playing with the ends of her strands as he responded, “’m glad it does too.” He responded with the smile, although by the tone of his voice and with the accent dripping off each word, he was pretty sure Aubrey (being the smart girl that she was) would be able to clearly hear it if she was paying attention. The room was peaceful and there was absolutely no disruption which was just how Zayn liked it not only in that moment but also when he was just alone. The silence was usually Zayn’s friend, but with Aubrey in his arms, it was as if that silence only increased. The breaths they each took, each little movement they made, it was all heard and for some strange reason, it brought a level of comfort to the Bradford boy. With his eyes searching for hers and finally finding them, Zayn didn’t know how to explain what he was feeling but he tried not to question the sensation he was getting. A light smile came on his lips as his eyes trailed down to her plump lips, the temptation only arising. Looking back up at her eyes as he felt her rubbing at his back, Zayn shook his head lightly, “I kinda wanna do something else. Try not to argue with me, yeah?” he smiled, not being able to do anything else before he slightly moved as his hand lightly grabbed at her chin and angled her lips up slightly as he himself moved to meet hers halfway, crashing his lips onto hers very tenderly, the feeling of knots forming in the pit of his stomach.
Aubrey: She was slowly drifting off, as she moved her hand back and forth, and feeling his touch in her hair, feeling the touch course through her into her body. She was tempted to just close her eyes and lay at rest right then and there, feeling as if she was in the best mood she could possibly be in at that moment. She listened carefully to his words, as they soothed her, her eyes threatening to fall as she was relaxed under his touch, but the distraction coming from his eyes lingered. She didn't want to look away from his eyes, that she was falling for. They just drew her in, every little speck in them, she studied and stared at it. It was slowly becoming the only thing on her mind, until she heard the soft voice come from Zayn's lips again, she tore her eyes away from his as she looked at confusion at his full face. As she began to open her mouth to protest against Zayn telling him that he should sleep, she suddenly felt the hand on her chin, and the breath coming closer to her face. As if it happened in a matter of a millisecond, she felt the soft lips touch hers. Her thought about protesting being completely washed away from her mind, and her focus digging into the kiss. She moved her hand that was on his side, still moving back and forth up his body to guide itself higher and higher until it was rested in his hair. Her hand carefully holding onto his head, as she moved her lips with his, the feeling taking over every sense in her body, and the electricity it was sending through her nerves. As the moment happened, Aubrey's mind focused on one thing, his eyes. She smiled into the kiss, as she felt herself lose more control then ever before.
Zayn: Zayn wasn’t sure what he was expecting when his lips touched connected Aubreys. Maybe he expected her to pull away and say she wasn’t ready. That she hadn’t moved on from Derrick. That she was making a mistake being with him right then and there. But the protest never came. Instead, Zayn felt the girl reciprocate in the kiss, her lips moving in synch with his while her hand trailed up to his hair. The sensation of his hair being touched always being a big weakness of his, causing a light groan to come from his mouth. Just the touch could either put him to sleep within a a few moments or it could’ve sparked up a fire within him, the sensation too strong for him to ignore. This time as Aubrey’s hands rested on his head, it definitely had to do with the latter. Zayn moved slightly, his chest slowly resting down on hers while his legs stayed in place as his left hand helped him for support in order to prevent from crushing the girl. With his right hand at Aubrey’s cheeks, Zayn tried to deepen the kiss, his eyes tight shut as he let himself get lost in the feeling. Fighting within himself for some self-control, Zayn pulled from his lips, his forehead resting on hers as he took in a few breaths of air as he tried to recollect himself. “I’m sorry.” He breathed out, not knowing what else to say. He wasn’t actually sorry for it at all, but he was apologizing for Aubrey’s sake. He tried not to overthink it, but Derrick still came to mind and it was bothering him to no ends. Especially because he himself had let himself ruin what they had going. Letting out a light breath of air and pushing himself back slightly to properly look at her, Zayn spoke out, “Can I ask you something?”
Aubrey: Aubrey let herself be taken over with, his movements linked with hers, every touch synced with hers, and it was her losing her control of her body. As if she didn't have a choice, but move her body with his. Her lips stayed locked onto his, as she was just feeling them, just feeling everything his lips could carry out onto hers. Her heart racing as she felt the soft groan escape from her hips. The feeling of it, just making her more weak for his touch. The feeling of Zayn shifting his body, made her smile in the case, realizing that he was moving on top of her as she moved herself to equip with his body. She was laying flat on her back, as she moved her hands around Zayn's hair, grabbing at it every so often, but softly. The feeling of him being above sent her body in a craze, she just wanted to never stop feeling his lips, and his body this close to her. Moving one of her hands slowly down his neck and towards the front, she rested it on his chest, moving her hand up and down, leaving her other hand in his hair. Before she could lose the last amount of control that she had left in her system, she felt the absense of his lips come over her. She opened her eyes slowly, as she realized that she was out of breath, taking the chance to make a deep breath. Having the feeling of his forehead rested on hers gave her a small smile playing on her lips. Her smile stayed in place, as she looked at him and breathed, until she heard him speak. Her smile slowly faded, as she sighed at his words. She didn't know what to make of his apology, she just want to think badly about it, scared that she may have done something wrong she continued to stay silent as she looked at him. She shook the thoughts from her mind, as she felt him push back more, the confusion still lingering in her face as she watched him. She listened carefully, to what he was saying and she nodded slightly at his question. "Yeah, anything." She breathed out, as she waited for the main question that made her curiosity increase.
Zayn: Shutting his eyes as his head still stayed leaning on her forehead, Zayn pursed his lips as they tingled, the absence of Aubrey’s lips not helping him at all as he forced himself to speak up rather than dive back into her lips and just forget about it all. But the thing was, he just couldn’t. With his breathing back to normal as he looked down at her, the worry she seemed to have upsetting him. He hadn’t liked that he was the one who had put that frown on her face, but he just had to speak up or this was only to continue happening and Zayn wanted nothing more than to forget about it as soon as he could but he wasn’t going to be a hundred percent okay until he knew how she really felt about the situation that circulated his mind. Clearing his throat, preparing himself for some vulnerability, he spoke out, “Do you uh..” he let out another breath of air before finally just forcing him to do it, “Do you..resent me at all over what happened with you and Derrick?” He finished, sucking in both of his lips as he waited for the answer. There was more to it, but taking to slow was definitely how Zayn wanted it to be. He wanted to know in detail and he couldn’t just skim over the issue like how he wanted too. “Cause if ‘m being honest, I feel like ‘m the reason for you two breaking up.” He admitted, his eyes staying on hers for a moment before he focused them elsewhere. “Like.. I don’t know.” He mumbled out before once again forcing himself to look back down at the brunette, “I just wonder if you two would’ve still been together had we never really talked that one day.”
Aubrey: She searched his eyes, trying to figure out what he was thinking, and what he was feeling, but no matter how long or deep she looked, she couldn't an answer to her question. She sighed as she decided that she was just going to have to wait for him to speak, her stomach was twisting as she waited. She didn't know what she expected to come out of his lips, but when it did. She was taken back slightly, she stared him straight in the eyes as he finished his question and thoughts out loud. Once, there was a sign that he was done speaking, she sighed as she knew it was her turn to talk. She shook her head, as she began talking. "Of course not, Zayn." She took a deep breath as she looked down slightly, trying to gather her thoughts to answer him. She looked back up at him, and moved her hand to his face, pulling his face to look at hers and in her eyes. "I don't resent you, at all. Do you really think I'd be here right now with you, if I resented you?" She stared straight in his eyes, as she rose one of her eyebrows at him. She sighed, licking her lips before speaking up again. "To be honest, you were the reason why I broke up with Derrick, but not in a bad way." She stated, as she closed her eyes willing herself to continue talking. "Zayn, while I was in that relationship, and talking to you at the same time, something changed. I found myself missing you when we weren't talking, and just waiting for us to talk again." She forced herself to give a small smile, as she realized that she was laying here with him, telling him the truth, something that she wasn't planning on telling him this week, let alone this day. She froze before speaking again, looking at him straight in the eyes. "I found myself falling for you, something that I couldn't help, and when I realized the truth and admitted it to myself, I wasn't going to stay in a relationship with someone else." She scrunched her nose up, "So, please stop blaming yourself for the breakup.... I'm fine, honestly. I couldn't be happier, actually." She smiled wider at him, searching his face. "I don't know what my life would be like if we never spoke, but right now. I don't want to think about that, because I'm happy. Being here with you, just laying here with you." She titled her head slightly to look at him better. "It's making me the happiest I've ever been in awhile." She finished her thoughts, not sure if she was speaking of any sense to him, but what was just in her mind.
Zayn: Waiting with anticipation as he waited for Aubrey to speak up, it gave Zayn very little time to over-think what had just left his mouth. The fact that he had spoken up then rather than later really did surprised him. He wasn’t even with Aubrey and her words were already so, so important to him. It scared him shitless with the thought of how it seemed that Aubrey had crawled her way deeper under his skin after each and every conversation. It was something that had come unexpectedly and the more he thought about it, the less it made sense. But he didn’t want to make sense of it. He honestly didn’t care because he was feeling something that he had forced himself out of months prior when his little sister had died, back when he remembered walking in his girlfriend at the time cheating on him with his best mate. That’s why he was so closed up. That’s why he stayed away from relationships. That was exactly why he hadn’t allowed himself to be this close to someone while being in this huge mansion filled with strangers. But of course, like some cliché movie, it happened out of the blue. Listening to Aubrey’s words, Zayn paid extra attention to each rise and fall of her words, finding himself smiling lightlty at some of her words before he brought back his usual smolder as he licked at his lips followed by a nod to let the girl know he was listening. Although, when Aubrey brought up the fact that she couldn’t have been happier, Zayn found the cheesiest of all smiles coming onto his face unintentionally. Wanting to hide his face, but opting against it, Zayn just let his head fall before he let out a breathe and looked back up at her. Just staring at her as he finished up her words, he waited until he was certain she had finished before the small smile came to place before he once again closed the space between their lips, simply pecking her lips at first, “I guess I can kinda agree with that.” Zayn teased playfully, “I mean, ‘m a Malik. A lot of people want a piece of us.” He responded, completely joking as he remembered a confession about the three Malik’s not too long ago. “Too bad I kinda only want you.” He finished, his lips meeting hers for a third time that night.
Aubrey: Aubrey simply stared at Zayn's face, trying to read him, as she watched him. As soon as his smile came apparent on his face, she broke out in a wider smile as she stared at him. Soon enough, she felt him reach down at her, and kiss her lightly, the kiss didn't last long, but it still held the same desire in it as before to her. As he pulled back slightly to speak, she rolled her eyes slightly at his first statement, and laughed a little, while looking at him. She was about to speak against his, until she heard him speak again. Her heart melted at his words in that moment, and she couldn't help the smile that grew wider than ever on her face. Once she felt the familiar lips on hers again, she closed her eyes as she took in the kiss. The smile on her face, stayed present as she felt his lips on hers, seemingly taking awhile to disappear, and she liked it that way. She pulled back from the kiss, a little glancing at the boy's face still near hers, smiling slightly at him as she bit down on her lower lip. She decided in that moment, to respond to his previous statement before he kissed her, "Well, aren't I lucky." She smirked, as her eyes searched his, her mind was still racing, but her heart took over her body, as she moved one of her hands to rest on his face, leaving it there, as she looked at him. She was going to speak until she decided that right there, right in this moment, she didn't need words. She just sighed peacefully as she looked at him, with her smile growing softer by the second.
Zayn: Laughing alongside her as she rolled her eyes at his comment, Zayn just took the moment for what it was not wanting to spoil anything anymore. He heard all that he needed to hear and more then so he was done thinking about it. There was no reason for it any longer and being completely reassured now, the genuine look in Aubrey's eyes, Zayn was actually trusting her without further questioning and it felt...nice. He just hoped it wouldn't be something he would end up regretting in the future, but even with that slight thought in his mind, he was sure no one could regret a girl like Aubrey. Watching the way her eyes looked up at him with that beautiful smile of her as Zayn confessed his five words to her, Zayn smiled lightly, proud that he was the one who had put it there. "As you should." Zayn responded with a light smirk of his own. The very first one he had given her that night. Blinking a couple of times as he smiled down at her, Zayn decided it was probably time he pulled away his weight off her chest, so he did just that as he slowly rested himself back into his side, his arm protectively wrapping around her little frame as he snuggled her in close, a yawn threatening to break. "Jet lags a bitch." Zayn mumbled as his eyes slowly fluttered shut, his breathing coming out slowly as he took in the scent of the girls hair once again.
Aubrey: Breathing softly, as she watched him and listened to him. She couldn't help the small laugh that came from her lips, as she saw him smirk at her, she was tempted to roll her eyes again at him, but it never came. She simply rose her eyebrows at him, and looked at him, as she didn't respond back to him. Soon, she felt the shift of his body, moving off of her, and her eyes followed his movement. She took the chance, and moved over on her side slightly, to face him as she laid down next to him. Feeling his arms wrap around her and pull her to him, she giggled slightly at the notion, and rested her head back onto his shoulder, breathing him in again. She smiled as she heard him speak, taking note of his words. She just stayed still as she nodded her head against his shoulder. She felt her eyes closing, as she let herself relax against him, knowing in her mind that she wouldn't mind falling asleep in his arms all the time. Her smile seemed to never fade, as she rested and felt herself drifting, as she listened to his breathing carefully and focusing on that only.
Zayn: Feeling the movement as they both found a comfortable position, Zayn almost felt envious as he realized how easily it was for her to hear the beat of his heart. Bringing one of hands up to her hair, Zayn once again found himself playing with her strands carefully before he kissed at the crown of her head, his eyes shut and showing no sign of opening anytime soon. "If I wake up and you're not here," Zayn mumbled yet again, "you're not getting your sparkly Edward Cullen in the morning with your precious little star." He finished, a light and very short laugh passing his lips. Even though they were both caught in nothing but a comfortable embrace, Zayn wasn't sure if she had come into his room with an intention of leaving that same night. Especially not after what they had spoken of, not to mention the kisses they shared. Breathing in calmly, Zayn waited for her to respond, the exhaustion, only drifting him back into what he usually relied as his peace but fighting against it as he waited for the girl to respond.
Aubrey: She was calm, as she just laid there, she was just about to allow herself to sleep soundlessly next to Zayn, until she heard his voice fill her ears. She kept her eyes shut, as she listened to him carefully, feeling the words he was speaking, and the touch of his lips against her skin. She nestled her head closer to him, as she laughed slightly. "I guess, I just have to stay in that case." She smirked slightly and moved her hands to rest on his chest, as she moved them up and down, feeling him. She giggled softly, and then her sigh replaced the laugh, as she was letting go of staying awake. Her mind was closing, as she settled into him, accepting that sleep was coming over her. Her breath became steady, and regular as she let herself soundlessly fall asleep in his arms, not waiting for a reaction out of the boy beside her.
Zayn: Listening to the girls light words, the exhaustion from her part coming as well. It was evident that they both needed the sleep and he was more than glad for it too even though he would've stayed up for her had he needed too. "Guess you do." Zayn smiled lightly before finally letting himself just get lost in the sleep that was calling to him. Maybe she'd be there when he woke up, maybe she wouldn't, but at least he had her then and there in his arms.
