Take Care of Yourself, exhibition site
Turning intimate stories (hers and others') into public art
Art as a provocation / The multiplicity of identities
It made me rethink the boundaries between art and life, how Art can be used as a tool to evoke empathy, resonate. (Personal experiences and stories can be interpreted in new ways through the perspective from the audience)
Kou Yamamoto
Based in Kyoto, Japan, his work spans digital art, artificial intelligence, dance, sound design, nature, and philosophy.
Specializes in integrating technology into everyday experiences, redefining the relationship between people and the environment through devices, interactive media and biomaterials.
I am a person who is very interested in science and technology, but also very afraid of it. These works give me a sense of the beauty of fictional world and technology.
Moreover, his works let me know the interactive software touchdesigner (hope that I can fully learn to use it this year:))
Tishan Hsu
American contemporary artist based in New York, his work combines painting, sculpture and digital media to explore how technology is changing our perception of the body and reality.
A reflection of his exploration into the intersections of technology, humanity, and the built environment.
Ever since seeing his work, it's taken me out of the sense of being trapped by screens, images... which made me more interested in combining moving images with other media.
The collision of technology, the virtual and the real.
