Sweet Tarts -- "Keep Searching"
This all-female band "formed on an assembly line at a Waterbury electronics factory" recorded a number of songs on 4-track between 1982 & 1984, but only released 1 EP, with this song appearing in 1990 as part of 'The Whiplash Tapes' compilation put out by their local Connecticut record label.
MILLI MILLI BAR to release their first CD-R
Mia Nascimento’s new band have announced that they will be releasing their first CD-R MILLI MILLI BAR no MINI MINI R (ミリミリバールのミニミニR) at their performance today, 16 January 2018, at STAR PINE’S CAFE.
The CD will contain six tracks including the three songs My Sweet Seventeen, Sandalia Dela, Asobi Hanbun (遊 び 半 分; lit. “Half Joking”), and their instrumentals.
However, while Mia Nascimento will be absent from the performance due to being ill with influenza. Instead, keyboardist Tetsuro Yafune will be performing vocals on her behalf.
As an apology to fans, the band will be giving the CD-R for free to all in attendance at today’s event.

Details emerge for Mia Nascimento’s 2nd CD-R
Musician Yoshihiko Seki has unveiled the cover art and some details for Mia Nascimento’s upcoming 2nd CD-R.
The CD-R appears to include the studio version of Forget.
The cover art was designed entirely by Mia herself.
Mia’s 2nd CD-R is scheduled for release on 1 July 2021 at the Kazumi Namba’s TOWER RECORDS event Idol 36-bou, which will be available for livestream at Openrec.tv at 20:30 JST.
