Images and group pictures from the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival at Sloan's Lake in Denver, Colorado. My team, pictures 2 and 6, are the Phantom Dragons and The Pink Phantoms. The team is mostly women but we manage to get a few guys in there. Our team took The Silver in the 500m overall and the bronze in the 125m and 250m overall. The weather was mostly cloudy and it drizzled a few times on us. The Festival is the largest Asian American Heritage Festival in the country. I had a great time.

We hope you’re all as excited as we are about the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival this weekend! This awesome free event is great for the whole family, lasts all weekend, and will feature dragon boat races (of course!), all kinds of tasty Asian food, tons of live entertainment, and much more.

To help celebrate CDBF, we’re bringing in Chuck Huber, noted voice actor, script writer, ADR director, and all-around great guy. He’ll be signing autographs, selling character art (check prices at his booth), taking selfies with fans, and giving out hugs all weekend long and he’d love to see you all there. Chuck’s Prices: Hugs: free! First autograph: $10  Unlimited autographs: $20 Selfies, recordings & prank calls: $10 Autographed character prints: 'as listed'

FREE Anime tent We’ll also be running the Two Days of Anime tent with FREE anime screenings all weekend long. Escape the heat and join us in our air-conditioned tent for new and classic anime for all ages. Here’s the viewing schedule for the weekend:
