Indeed it's a very busy semester for me. Luckily, classes and exams are suspended last Saturday because of the storm named Fung Wong. So, I have time to update my blog. :)
Before the rush and whereabouts of this semester, our organization, UP Lambak, had it's 22nd Anniversary and we had a formal dinner. After the dinner, I and my high school classmates here in Diliman pursued our plan to sleep over the place of one of us. We're now in our third year in college but still it was our first time to be together, just the six of us! I remember striding along a busy night street with our formal attires and bags. Obviously, the people were staring at us. Though we were aware of the perils at this city, we were able to feel like we're striding along the busy and famous night streets of New York and Paris! The night went on filled with dreams and precious moments. :)
The second picture tells it all. We were able to get CDC tickets at base price (yay!!!). Last year, our school's team, the UP Pep Squad, must have had its first four-year winning streak and must have been the first team to win 9 titles if it wasn't the NU Pep Squad who won the competition. This year, NU had a perfect run which kind of made them defend the title. Despite these, the UP Pep Squad still made me proud for their vision of EQUALITY. Women lifting men, same haircuts, rainbow flag that circled the Big Dome! Imagine?! ;)
These events happened 2-6 weeks ago. Hahaha. I just this blog to be 'updated.'
Y'all, what's up?
My Favorite Part ^_^
Congratulations UP Pep! You guys went home second best and it was not really bad. Let's all hold onto the advocacy and together fight for equality. Lahat pantay-pantay!
