Extensive use of her power made it easy for her to excel in it. She enjoys pushing herself, but it has a negative effect over her body. Myla shows the signs of fatigue from minimal rest and strenuous training. But despite her limitations, she has a good grasp of her abilities, and is quite able to inflict damage if necessary.

Myla’s parents showered her with love and affection. She was their pride and joy, she excelled in her schoolwork and was a good presence among her hometown of Eilenburg. A happy childhood with little stress or worry are one of the few things Myla is grateful for. Her first shock in life was the sudden split of her parents, and the eventful move to the United States that her mother insisted on being ‘beneficial’ for her learning. Not much had changed, despite her new surroundings and sudden loss of a father. Sure, they kept in contact, but an email every few weeks only did so much.
Her mother soon began to work full-time, having little time to spare for her only child. Myla did miss her, but she was old enough to understand that it’s what was necessary. Besides, she could only imagine the frenzy her mother would begin if she witnessed Myla’s discovery of her ability. It was simple. She stopped a glass from falling to the tile floor with nothing but her mind. The instances of her power making an appearance became more frequent. At first, they were small. Much like the first time, she would simply stop things in motion. Nothing too major, but it was still enough to set her apart from the rest.
Despite graduating with a number of awards and scholarships practically thrown at her, she decided to go down a much more simpler path. College only held her down for a year or so before she dropped out, earning her mother’s disapproval. At the time, it wasn’t for her. She wanted to see the world, and a visit to her father and home was long overdue. He was hesitant at first, as was she, but the pair soon formed a bond, and they even learned of their mutual ground. They were both mutants. It was just like her first time, she stopped something from hitting the ground and then drew it to her with nothing more than her mind. But her father saw, and he was more than pleased to learn of this.
But her lack of expertise was a shock, since she excelled in essentially every other aspect of life. He had contacts, some of which having similar abilities to his daughter. She despised the fact the sudden interest in her well-being was due to her being a mutant, but he was right, she lacked skill. For the next four years, she pushed herself to her breaking point. Training had ignited her lust for power and she was more than happy with the realization of how much she had at her fingertips.
But with her father being a graduate of Morgana Academy, it was no surprise when she received an invitation upon one of her many returns to her mother. It was a safe haven for her kind and a promise of the closest she could get to normalcy. Unsurprisingly, she took the offer, and soon resumed her studies of Molecular Biology and Genetics while attending the academy. She feels a little out of place, especially since she had only dabbled in the fields of her studies for a little over a year before withdrawing herself entirely.
For the most part, Myla is a polite woman. She knows her place and sticks by it, but will not back down easily if pressed. Her determination shows in her studies and training, as she continues to push herself. The academy is a source of much needed stability, as it caters to her needs but also serves as an outlet of sorts. She enjoys the presence of most of her peers and has high regards for those that teach them on a daily basis.
