Whenever we travel we like to support local animal parks and sanctuaries, primarily to witness firsthand their conservation efforts of native animals, but also because moments like these are priceless! These couple of characters are the critically endangered Kea Parrots of New Zealand. With only 5,000 of them left in the wild, they are the world’s only mountain parrot, and they are some funny little birds.
