OH YEAH i wrote this off the bat so it isnt beta read but here's something that was supposed to happen in liy i just forgot to add it
cdot sat up, eyes widening. he felt like he just died, but he wasn't sure. the last thing he could recall was being in that forest with…shit, right. maybe he did die. he still wasn't confident.
he glanced down at himself. he looked completely normal. it didn't look like he had anything weird or wrong about him. his hands no longer looked strange. he felt like he could see clearly. his mind wasn't foggy. it didn't look like there was blood absorbed in his normally black jacket. he seemed…normal. cdot rolled his sleeves up. he didn't have those cracks covering his arms, either. what the hell was going on?
cdot slowly stood, rolling his shoulders back before he dragged his sleeves back down his arms. he wasn't sure he wanted to know where he was, but he could describe the place as a large field. it existed as a large field. the grass wasn't as spiky, it was comfortable enough to lay on. there were trees around, but they were minimum. he continued looking around, staying in that exact spot. he didn't move. he kept wondering what this world was, it kinda looked like--
cdot spun around. he was met with the same purple figure he spoke to many times before, the same figure he recognized the best. the same figure he didn't want to see, but knew he should. was this some sort of trial? was he being tested right now?
"jellybean," cdot started. air caught in his throat, refusing to let him speak. he was met with a fist of confidence, and began speaking again. "jellybean, you're--" he couldn't speak again, damn it.
all they did was smile, not saying a word. he blinked, completely dumbfounded. cdot found himself stumbling forward, gently resting his hands on jellybeans arms. he didn't do anything but keep them in arms length. then all of a sudden, cdot brought them into a tight hug. he dug his face into jellybean's shoulder, and he wanted to cry.
"charlie," jellybean began. cdot knew they were hesitating, but he didn't dare speak.
cdot finally managed to say, pulling away from the hug and resting his hands on jellybean's face. he made sure they met each other's eyes, as if he were trying to differentiate what was real and what wasn't.
"oh my god, jellybean." cdot finally said, digging his face back into jellybean's shoulder. "fuck, i'm so sorry." he whispered.
"it's okay, charlie! it's okay!" jellybean assured, obviously overwhelmed with the whole situation. "you're okay, i'm okay. we're--you and i are both home now."
