NOTE: So my FF soundtrack finally arrived in the mail earlier this week, and here's what it looks like! O glorious day!
PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on partial sleeve/CD package art for the Original Sound Track Recording of Paramount Pictures' "Funny Face," the 1957 American musical romantic comedy film directed by Stanley Donen and written by Leonard Gershe, containing assorted songs by George and Ira Gershwin. The album was remastered and re-released on CD in 1996 under the Verve label.
SOUNDTRACK OVERVIEW: ""Funny Face is a total fantasy of love and Paris. It also boasts the lyrics of George and Ira Gershwin, the dancing of Fred Astaire, and the presence of Audrey Hepburn. They are all accounted for on this reissue of the classic soundtrack, and it goes without saying they don't make 'em like thus anymore. (The film was directed by Stanley Donen and had the visual wit of Richard Avedon, by the way.) A collaboration among talents such as these couldn't miss -- and it didn't.
