The Hawke Family (1/3)- Malcom and Leandra

Hunted and nearly penniless, Malcolm was faced with a difficult dilemma: leave on the ship without Leandra or stay and face the wrath of Lord Aristide and the templars. Warden-Commander Larius demanded a service of Malcolm and in return, the Grey Wardens would help in reuniting him with Leandra. Malcolm agreed.  When Leandra heard the news, she was forced to choose between her parents and her love. She chose Malcolm and Aristide consequently disowned her.

The Hawke Family (2/3)- Bethany and Carver

Once, she and a friend were being chased by a wild dog and Bethany accidentally made it go to sleep. After this incident, Bethany kept herself in even more secrecy.  After his father died, Carver started down a military path and took part in the Battle of Ostagar. His fellow soldiers said Carver fought well, that they used him as a spear while they kept the darkspawn off his flanks. He had to be dragged from the fight when Loghain Mac Tir’s betrayal forced the Fereldan army into a rout.

The Hawke Family (3/3)- Philomena Hawke

After her father’s death, Hawke took over the role of caring for her mother and her siblings. Forced to flee Lothering during the fifth Blight, she finds herself in Kirkwall, losing her younger sister on the way. Hawke tries to keep her remaining family together, relying on an armory of wit and sarcasm, as well as judicous use of her arcane powers.

"Hey, another point against being a templar - Merrill would probably not be on board. Well, I suppose she would but there's another apostate you'd have to be protecting on the side."

Carver blushed, his face beginning to show an incredible likeness to a ripe tomato. "Merrill? Why would I care what Merrill thought? Why would I protect Merrill?"

"So, you wouldn't protect her?"

"No! I would! I mean, yes. I mean, no, I -"

"I mean, we all know you have a gigantic crush."

"I do not -" Carver began hotly, his cheeks flushing even brighter, if possible.

"Hey, don't get all worked up over it. Merrill's oblivious at least. Though, I'm unsure if that's a good thing."

"Festis bei umo canavarum, Hawke." Fenris shook his head, ruefully, walking towards Hawke. "You are nothing like the mages and abominations who cause such pain. You are nothing like Quentyn. If you were, I would not be here."

Hawke let out a small laugh this time. "You weren't here. You left."

This time, Fenris did flinch, but he hid it very well. "I am here now."

Sereda Aeducan and Leliana

Aeducan wondered whether they would have to make the first move, when a voice interrupted the quiet.

"Gentlemen," Aeducan turned to see a beautiful woman approach with hair more red than fire, dressed in chantry robes with a firm, but gentle manner about her "surely, there's no need for trouble. These are no doubt simply more poor souls seeking refuge." The red haired beauty continued, her melodic voice seeming out of place in a situation like this.
