I have to start this post with a diagram, because to speak of it according to just words for me is impossible. The way my thought process works is non-linear usually so to have a map or a diagram like this is much more useful. This was something that I came to understand at my last affiliate meeting. Something I believe God has spent a month or so teaching me so I have a solid foundation on how to act. I’m going to just try typing up my notes on this picture versus making an essay of paragraphs. Hopefully you find it just as useful as I have:
—————— {Our} Thoughts {should be} on the SON, on God and thoughts on heaven ~ Sun - nothing concealed from it, all sustained by it; the Eucharist, with the burning furnace of Jesus’ Heart ~ heaven/clouds - all around God, all from God, all about God {which allow us only to see God in an imperfect way in this life}
^{These THOUGHTS} Spur on thoughts and action in LOVE {Love which occurs by means of} blood of man {his sacrifice} & water/rain of God's grace ~thoughts {of Love} lead to PURITY OF HEART: Only You, Lord [Fueled and guarded by HUMILITY (truth)]
^{LOVE then} Raining (reigning) on acts of and thoughts of SELF-DENIAL ~self-denial (seeds in Rock & dirt) of sinful disposition; worldly allurements; assaults & lies of Satan
—————— {So} LOVE grows in SELF-DENIAL GOD inspires LOVE -> Love is a seed {in us, the dirt} of a plant, a flower, a tree {that grows and is fruitful thirty or a hundredfold if planted, rooted in the Lord; if they aren't rooted in God they bear less fruit} -Rain/sunlight help grow plants in dirt {God's grace, His Mercy} ~Plants are (mostly positively) phototropic, grow toward the light ~{So} ALL ACTS OF LOVE GO BACK TO THE LORD, THE BEGINNING OF LOVE and give Him glory –Ecce (Behold: God and me in light of truth) — Fiat (I accept: Your love and grace) — Magnificat (I do, I act: Return love to Source)–
—————— And ALL THAT is the truth of True Life: Dying to self is living -To Lose One's Life is to Keep It -It Is By Dying In Love That We Live Truly -A Grain of Wheat Must Fall Upon on the Ground and Die or It Cannot Give Life -DYING BRINGS LIFE {The} LIFE {of God} inspires death {of self} which gives birth to Life {in others} Self-denial is the foundation of Love
LOVE from above {the vertical part} + SELF-DENIAL on ground {the horizontal part} = ✝️ the CROSS, which is eternal love and life
—————— God permits death to draw greater good out of it. -Did it from Adam and Eve-expelled them from Eden-not to eat the Tree of Life so not permanently enemy with God, because He could draw greater good out of it—eternal life in His Son. All throughout the Bible and even in our own lives. -God sees the whole picture and can act with precision and wisdom, greater than our own to draw a greater good out of it. -He is the Rock and His Wisdom is greater than ours—so we can trust in Him with complete abandon in our daily lives at every moment: because His will is love & mercy itself.
