It seems that every time Patron comes out, despite his calm and measured demeanor, people assume that "I" (Patron) has an attitude with them.

The coffee shop was busy, people bustling in and out in an attempt to make the most of their precious lunch hour. Every moment, Ellie was well aware she was the sole calm figure within the hive of activity, though the tight feeling of apprehension in her chest seemed far from calm. Sitting at one of the long benches and staring out the windows, she offhandedly ordered a mocha and a sandwich from the flustered waitress who approached her.
It had been quite a while since she’d been approached by one Cecil D’Haveraan; a few months at least. Somewhere deep down, Ellie had a sinking feeling that her debt wasn’t quite as solved as she thought it was after the last job she’d done for him. However, she swallowed the doubt and let her usual pride wash back over. Smuggling was easy money when you could evade the authorities and picks locks as well as she could, and her wallet had been frustratingly empty for two years. Two years too long for her tastes.
The coffee made an appearance soon after, and she burnt her tongue on the first sip. “Andraste’s bloody-” Ellie cut off the curse with a sigh, thinking that it was probably just a continuation of her luck today, having already broken a glass and lost one of her best paintbrushes. Still, she was determined to come out on top of whatever deal Cecil wanted to make. How bad could it be, right?
