The letter arrives rather... peculiarly. It's covered in a thin layer of sawdust, there seems to be a black oil stain on the bottom corner on the envelope, and the letter itself is sealed with white wax. Whoever sent this either was doing it hastily, or without care. The parchment that is revealed is slightly yellowed and crinkled, and the words are written with black ink, in a cursive scrawl...
Now, what the fuck is the reddit mania post?

Joel's response comes quickly, arriving in a pretty letter sheathed in a dark magenta envelope with a distinct turquoise seal — the symbol of a recognizable hat is clear in the wax. The letter itself is written in a delicate, swooping cursive that gets messier the longer that the letter goes on.

I am so glad you asked.
First thing to note is that the Reddit mania post was back during Hermitcraft 10, alright? Aaaages ago, basically. And, you know, I was just doing my thing, as I do, you know, my perfectly regular thing that I always do, right? And then I see this random fella over on Reddit talking some BS about mania and aggression and how I come across and blah blah blah, and it's like, okay, just say you're jealous of how awesome and hot and sexy I am, right? Like, really, it was honestly just spouting nonsense.
But, yeah, they were totally super wrong about that mania stuff back then, and, of course, I have been nothing but even more perfectly normal than usual this season, so obviously, it doesn't apply at all anymore. Besides, you'd tell me if I seemed manic to you, right, Cecil? Right?
