The beach along Cedar River
"Is that a threat?"
Cedar asked, with a scowl. She had been at odds with this particular pack member for ages. Only amplified now that she made friends with other mages in the city. Trixie Tongue exhaled as he lit up a cigarette, "it doesn't have to be. I'd rather we stay on the same side of things." He spoke with a honest tone and shrug of a shoulder. Interesting he was being compliant now, since prior Trixie took every chance to scream at her in private away from Skyler's eyes and ears.
"I can not simply step away from this now, they need me Trix. I know the danger this poses, but I'd rather we find a solution before it spreads out of Seattle and effects you and the others back home."
The two of them were back in silence. Cedar did not want to give up her position on the matter, Trixie could see that much in her. Only natural she was stubborn. She was Skyler's sister, his pack leader. And the only reason she wasn't with them, was because a cruel twist of fate put her on the other side of the moon. In the end, Trixie pulled hard on his cigarette practically dragging the whole thing into his mouth, the stream of smoke was just as thick; "I can not stop you..." He started to speak another name but paused. Trixie knew calling her by any other name that was not her new name would spell trouble for them both, so he simply cleared his throat.
"Cedar River. I can not stop you, and I know you have the support of your brother and the others. Thus, you have mine as well."
