Can't help but wonder the sound made when this one came down.
Big cedar - Olympic National Park
Flowing river in early spring carries along the scent of the cedars, ice, and a breath of fresh air. The river begins to thaw as does my heart, both have been caught by a warm presence. The first in the form of the elements, the second in the form of a kind soul.

When King Steve gets downtime, does he prefer to travel somewhere with his Queen or does he prefer a lazy day in the castle? Is that even possible for them as royalty? When their time isn't being demanded upon, I am very curious about what their favorite way to spend time is. Cuz I can picture King Steve being someone who likes to be outdoors and active, maybe on a hunt (but he doesn't get to do that a lot as a King anymore) ... but we know the Queen loves reading and is perhaps a bit more quiet so where do their interests intersect? Sorry for being nosy!
While our Cedar Trees couple is very busy, they do enjoy spending leisure time together when they're afforded it. You like to read, but Steve loves to draw, so there's a fair amount of time you can overlap with together that way.
As for the outdoors aspects, it's true that Steve might seek more active aspects, and as king he can plan things like a royal hunt for the morale of the court, for hosting foreign dignitaries, etc, but you very much like to ride out with your ladies in the afternoon and join them for picnic lunches, etc. I saw a tiktok a few years ago that differentiated it this way, but outdoors-y people versus outside-y people. Steve does love the outdoors activities, but you, our reader queen, enjoys outside time. 🤭 and we can't forget how much you both enjoyed this outside time...
And while you're not as much in the forefront/spotlight as Steve is, I've always envisioned that you, as queen, do take your role of being a good and welcoming presence as very valued. Your mother instilled/taught you that people want to be seen and heard and valued by their king and queen, and that you would be able to share and give that way.
(is this ask more than a year old, yes, but I decided I needed to get after it and answer some of these lovely things that have been sent my way and stop worrying about if I'm answering them "well enough" or not)
Thank you for asking about them!!!
