afternoon delight ☆ rachel & mercedes

Rachel could not hide her excitement and spent her morning smiling, giggling and being overly enthusiastic about the simplest of appointment. Very few reasons made her look forward to leaving her salon. She did not have anybody to go home to, any hobbies on the side, or anything else on her mind to distract her from constantly wanting to improve her business. Yet, today was different. The plans she made with her new friend, Mercedes, changed this usual situation. As soon as the beautician handed the receipt to her last client before the evening, she hurried to the employee room, grabbed a pair of jeans and a blouse she picked beforee going to work and went to change herself. Within a couple of minutes, she was waving her colleague goodbye and got into her car. She made sure to set her phone to Mercedes’ address and drove to her house, without confronting any form of traffic. Only in Philly. Parked in front of the designated building, she honked a few times, rolling down her window to greet her friend. “I heated up your seat, come on, hurry up!” She exclaimed.
