I’m gonna do Ced first

2. Their smile

Smiles from Ced are a very rare thing. However, they can generally be separated into two categories. The first is a soft, small smile that lights up his face and crinkles the edges of his eyes. The second is saved only for those closest to him. In both cases, his smiles make him look like a giant teddy bear.

 3. Their greatest achievement

If asked, he wouldn’t know what to tell you. There’s nothing about him or his deeds that he finds noteworthy. When it really comes down to it, he doesn’t know how to tell people that he’s very proud of the fact that he hasn’t packed up and gone back to his quiet life in the forest. He’s fond of the friends and family he’s discovered during his travels and wouldn’t trade them for the chance to return to his solitude. 

14. How do they react to burning their tongue on food

With considerable swearing and drinking as much ale as possible to try and cool it down. He has to tone it down once his daughter is in the picture, and tries to keep the swearing to himself - though not always successfully. 

18. How do they sleep

Like a log, as soon as his head hits the pillow he’s asleep until morning.

8. What they like to eat

His favourite foods are almost ‘offensively’ Ferelden. Something hearty and meaty and if given the chance he’d have corn with every meal. 

12. Their romantic life

Well romantically Aedan is nothing short of a disaster. He slept around quite a bit in his teens because he thought the person he wanted to be with had no interest in him. That, it turned out, was a huge misunderstanding! After sorting things out, Aedan and Rory Gilmore were together for several years before the Blight and had plans to join the Wardens together. 

After Howe’s betrayal, Aedan thought he’d lost Rory forever and spends the better part of the next year trying to move on. It helps a little that Alistair comes stumbling into his life and offers to listen if/when Aedan ever wants to talk about what happened. Their relationship progresses much slower than I imagine it does in game, most of it happening nearer to the end of the Blight and into Alistair’s first year as King. 

In relationships, Aedan tends to keep his heart close to his chest. He doesn’t want to deal with the attachment if it can be helped. With enough dedication it’s possible to slip beneath the cold exterior and once someone does, they’re unlikely to ever be rid of him.

14. How they react to burning their tongue on food

He tries his damn best to appear like he hasn’t just done something incredibly stupid. Poker face in tact, he tries not to make it seem like he’s gulping down whatever is in the nearest cup.

1. Their voice

He’s a fairly quiet guy and his voice sort of reflects that. He has a smooth baritone, sometimes a little gruff with disuse since he tends to be a bit of a loner. It’s not a powerful or booming voice, he’s not someone to stand and inspire armies. There’s an easy quality to it however, that makes people want to listen when he speaks. He also reads the best bedtime stories, puts his daughter to sleep after only a few pages.  

8. What they like to eat

Simple tastes for a simple guy. Ced’s favourite foods tend to be home made comforts, stews and hearty meat pies. He’s a fairly decent cook himself and has opinions about the correct cut of meat for each dish, but in the end he’s happy to feel warm and full at the end of a good meal. 

18. How they sleep

Ced sleeps like a log, out as soon as his head hits the pillow and doesn’t move until the next morning. He’s not the type to spread out or take up more than his fair share, but when sharing a bed he tends to cuddle. 

21. How they react to pain

For the most part Ced’s the type to grit his teeth and bare it. He’d rather fight through the pain than dwell on it. That being said, he’s much more likely to curse out stubbing his toe than be sidetracked by a stab wound or even torture. If it’s serious, he’d rather suffer in silence.
