If there's something about Inazuma Eleven character developments that I love, is that some of these arc's lessons are: It's okay to be selfish. It's okay to put yourself first every once in a while.

It is very respectable when you think of other's feelings, when you care for others than yourself, but you CANNOT neglet yourself in the process, you cannot ignore your own feelings to please someone else, and diming your own light as to not hurt others will hurt you in the long run.

It is so good and refreshing seeing this take, honestly, I don't recall seeing this anywhere else.

You can be selfish while having friends. You can care for others and not forget to care for yourself. You can brag your talent . Being a good person and having an ego can in fact go hand in hand
