Jetty Pearl dies
The first Dutch Eurovision entrant died on the 22nd of August at the age of 92. Jetty Pearl was born in Amsterdam on the 21st of May 1921, and was married to the Dutch artist Cees Bantzinger. Pearl was the first performer in the first contest in 1956 with the song “De Vogels Van Holland”.
