sga & jdub (full disclaimer, this is gonna be the longest one... i think 😅)
so they don't have a lot of history aside from being on the thunder together since jalen was drafted (2022) because he started college a year after shai was drafted. 😭
however, jalen used to watch shai a lot in college even though shai is only 3 years older which is interesting, because players usually follow vets and model their game after them but jdub said he models his game after sga (also, keep in mind they play different positions, jdub said it's mostly because of shai's build he watched him 😅)
something i love about their dynamic is how much they advocate for each other's success!! before jdub was announced as an all-star shai kept saying he deserved it. even in this video he starts by saying he "[felt] like a broken record because he kept saying it"; but this is also silly because he says that jdub is 6'4 and he's doing all this which is a running joke between them 😭 jdub is actually 6'6 but shai thinks saying he's shorter makes his stats more impressive lol
+ jdub is always saying shai is a great player & constantly driving shai's mvp campaign!! he even did as much last year, but shai lost unfortunately (i have more hope for this year 🤞🏾) (sidenote: i love how normalized it is in basketball for teammates to do post game pressers together.. if you like them they have plenty of those!)
ok for some silly things:
jdub used to frequently bomb shai's sideline interviews. shai used to act like he hated it but if you watch recent ones he now invites him and other teammates into them especially when theyre home!
shai is ALWAYS making (corny 😅) ig captions and jdub always explains them in the comments!!! even if he isn't, he's in the comments..
most recently (both comments are jdub, bottom is his finsta lol)
other examples, he does it ALL THE TIME.
he recently was asked about shai's instagram and if he has a ghostwriter and he said "he hopes [shai] writes them himself". 😭

cj & tank
ugh i feel like i can say a lot about them too, but i'll keep it brief ☹️
one of my favorite narratives are players who were rookies together and have a strong relationship lol!!
they actually met during the combine!! CJ talked to tank about which teams were looking at him and tank basically said he wanted to play with CJ because he knew they'd be good 🙂 so cj told the texans GM to draft tank when they asked if he was looking at any receivers 🙂 then cj called tank and said "i told them i want you" and then tank facetimed him after he got drafted 🙂
so much to say but i digress (ask me more)... anyways cj has said multiple times tank is his best friend! most notably of which would be when tank was hurt the past season.
stefon & josh
this is like the only other one i can say a lot on but i'll keep it short LOL.
okay so in short i think their dynamic was fucking crazy!!!!😭😭😭😭
i think stefon is... a lot! no shade. and i think josh could deal with it for a minute but i don't think they were meant to be on the same team longterm and i have so many thoughts so please ask me to continue on a different ask bc i wanna keep going but ugh. anyways!
for them, when things were good they were so great! they loved each other a lot, my favorite declaration of which would be stefon saying he wanted to grow old with josh and be on christmas cards together. ☹️
so they had a lot of ups!! but like yeah it's not that they had a lot of public fallouts, it was quite the opposite. i think they really did love each other and the reason why they arent cool now is because josh took stefon leaving personally even tho stef said it's because he wanted to be on a championship caliber team. i have many a thought on them but i gotta move on!

lamar & derrick
i know a lot about lamar, but not too much about them as a ship! i do love the concept. i like what i've heard about derrick defending lamar (which, honestly, more people should do 😭) & i can tell they have great chemistry based on how much he cares about lamar/supports him alone because they havent been together that long! i also know he came to the ravens to play with lamar 👀 in this interview, he said it was the main reason!
caleb & rome
they were also rookies together!! but they met before that :D
they played college football in the same conference (usc and washington respectively) so they met frequently, and they got closer towards draft day because they knew the bears were taking them both (which is like... imagine if they didnt LMAO 😭) they actually were on the same flight to detroit for the draft!
context for rome's tweet: someone asked if he could land a plane at the combine? 😭
but as for content beyond that i'm not entirelyyy sure. bears season kinda sucked and well there's not much to smile abt when you got 4 wins
ceedee & trevon / aj & jalen
okay so not to get lazy but idk much about either of these ships, just getting into the aj/jalen lore (they've known each other since HIGH SCHOOL???) but idk anything about ceevon in relation to each other. just think theyre both sexy and sexy people deserve each other idk
