What's the fashion of Celea like? Are there differences between statuses and roles? Are things like jewellery and colour a status signifier or just free for anyone? Are there any real life inspirations?

-> Celea has a very humid climate, so light, airy or open clothes are the staple.

-> Clothes are not gendered.

-> There is no difference in style or colours, but there is a definite difference in quality. With Minor Deities not being able to afford clothes of finer quality.

-> However, when working, the Minor Deities must wear a sash of their Major Deities colour with their symbol of it. Aeryn’s colour is lilac, Kyan’s was crimson, Niran’s was orange, Elex’s was emerald, and Hayle’s was turquoise.

Bonded? What’s that?

It’s essentially marriage between Deities.

It’s when the participants cores are joined in a ceremony and then blessed. This allows bonded partners to telepathically communicate.

Breaking the bond also requires a ceremony.

If this has been answered then just point me in the right direction, but does anything special happen when a child is born from and major and minor deity? What would they classified as, major or minor?

No, nothing special happens, it’s just kind of toss-up between the child being Major or Minor. They’re more likely to be Minor Deity, as Major Deities are much rarer, but it’s like 60/40 depending on if a new Major Deity is required at the time.

I don’t want to give too many details away at this point, but I will say that’s it’s very elitist and has elements of classism and xenophobia towards species in other realms woven throughout.

Is possible for mc to have a child?

It is possible for Deities, including the mc, to bear children. However, they are not created in the traditional sense in Celea, as in sex cannot result in a pregnancy. Those who wish for a child must receive the blessing of the Supreme and in order to gain that, the Deities need to make an offering that is deemed worthy enough.

If the offering is deemed worthy, then the Supreme will bestow the blessing, and a child will be created from all the cores of the Deities involved and the chosen bearer will carry that creation to term (which is about four and a half years).

It’s certainly going to come as a shock to the mc to learn that Celea is the only realm that operates in such a way. Even in Yanha, pregnancies happen in the usual way. How Celea prevents normal pregnancies will be revealed in-game.

The mc will not be able to have a child in the main game, but perhaps in the epilogue.
