protection techniques~
a/n- i’m not an expert on this, so please take this with a grain of salt, things work differently for everyone! <3
<overview>
protection techniques are normally done after cleansing a place, person, or anything else you’d want to cleanse. they help keep the pure feeling in a place and prevent negative energies from diluting it. it’s also a way to keep positive energy in place and stop it from escaping or dying out.
if you’re planning on using objects like crystals, food, or herbs, it’s best to research each item in order to find one that fits the type of protection you need.
these aren’t spells, since i am not an expert in those and haven’t done enough research to know whether they work or not, but these are just some simple things you can do! <3
<protecting places>
keeping an aloe vera plant next to a entrances and tying red string around the leaves
washing a doorframe, visualizing a protective barrier around it and/or saying a prayer/spell
burning a lavender, pine, rosemary, rose, and cedar candles (other scents can work too)
hanging mistletoe above a doorway ;)
woods like birch, cedar, pine, myrtle, rowan, and oak are excellent to burn using a fireplace or something else
some flowers and plants have protective effects, like basil, mandrake, lilac, sunflowers, lily, ivy, mint, violets, marigold, peonies, periwinkles, daisies, daffodils, and lots more
these plants/flowers can be put in vases or planted around your home
putting an evil eye talisman somewhere in the room
hanging crosses in a room
black tourmaline, amber, fluorite, amethyst, carnelian, selenite, jet, labradorite, black obsidian, and smoky quartz are good crystals to keep around your home as protection
<protecting people>
spices like garlic, cumin, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, fennel, and turmeric will have a protective effect on a person if they are consumed
foods can be used for protection too- plantains, pineapples, cranberries, raspberries, eggs, potatoes, watercress, walnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, and olive oil
wearing an evil eye talisman
wearing a cross
keeping crystals like black tourmaline, amber, fluorite, amethyst, carnelian, selenite, jet, labradorite, black obsidian, and smoky quartz on your person (this can also be used for places by putting the crystal(s) near doorways)
visualizing a white, glowing barrier around yourself
taking a bath infused with the flowers listed above in the protecting places section is good
you can do that by using soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bubbles? really anything

the root chakra~
tw; mentions of eating disorders
association/powers: safety, grounding, foundation, survival/basic needs physicality, security (esp. financially)
element: earth
color: red
location: base of the spine
other names: muladhara, adhara
the root chakra is an energy base at the bottom of your spine. it holds the key to the foundations of all your endeavors and a safe spot to gain security from. opening up this chakra will help you relieve yourself from fear and anxiety, while also bringing more abundance into your life.
what is a chakra?
a chakra is an energy hotspot in your body. everyone has seven of them, starting from the root chakra at your spine and up to the crown chakra, at the top of your head. these chakras represent areas of your life.
most of the time, unless you’re experienced in spirituality and chakra healing, you have at least one unbalanced chakra. an unbalanced chakra will create a restriction on the area of life that the chakra rules. you can have an overactive chakra as well, where the imbalance stems from overuse rather than underuse.
mental side effects/traits of a blocked/underactive root chakra include:
insecure, fearful, anxious, indecisive, threatened, low self esteem, struggles with handling money and possessions
mental side effects/traits of an overactive root chakra include:
greedy, aggressive, rigid, close-minded, cynicism, illusions
physical side effects of an imbalanced root chakra:
lower back pain, fatigue, exhaustion, bladder issues, eating disorders
activities to heal an underactive root chakra:
hiking, gardening, cooking (esp. root vegetables/red foods,) meditating in nature, keeping “earthy” items like plants or flowers in your home, dancing
practicing self love, letting go of fears, taking small steps outside your comfort zone
doing yoga poses like the tree, the mountain, downward dog, the chair, and bridge
foods associated with the root chakra and healing it:
raspberries strawberries, cherries, watermelon, tomatoes, other red foods
potatoes, beets, carrots, onions, other root vegetables
protein rich foods like edamame, sunflowers seeds, peanut butter, etc.
pepper, paprika, chives
crystals and incenses associated with the root chakra and healing it:
red jasper, bloodstone, garnet, black tourmaline, smoky quartz, hematite
patchouli, frankincense
what the root chakra feels like:
*in my opinion/experience
tapping into the root chakra involves stepping back into the base of your spine and looking at your surroundings. not observing them and searching for potential danger, but simply taking them in. being self-assured with yourself and your abilities. you are prepared and safe. you are building your foundations. they are strong.
the sacral chakra~
association/powers: emotions, sensuality, creativity, confidence, sexuality, fantasy, inner and outer worlds, relationships, identity, personal expansion
element: water
color: orange
location: right below navel
other name: svadhisthana
the sacral chakra is an energy base that is charged with creative, flowing energy. a healed sacral chakra enables your ability to “go with the flow” and experience life. confidence in yourself and feeling deserving in relationships is linked to this chakra.

mental side effects/traits of an underactive sacral chakra:
numbness, lack of desire, dependency, addictive behaviors, cynicism, isolation, depression, sense of being lost, low self-esteem
mental side effects/traits of an overactive sacral chakra:
indulgence, addictive behaviors, daydreaming constantly, illogical, overly horny, jealousy, low self-esteem
physical side effects of an imbalanced sacral chakra:
lower back pain, also to mention opening this chakra and using it’s power sometimes helps with period cramps, stomach cramps
activities to heal an underactive sacral chakra:
hip-opening stretches, dancing, letting out your feelings, staying still and taking in the beauty of the world around you, listening and relating to music, thinking about your past in a healthy way
foods associated with the sacral chakra:
nuts, seeds, sweet potato, carrots, melons, mangos, pumpkin, orange, citrus, b u t t e r n u t s q u a s h, fermented foods, orange anything, fruit infused water
crystals associated with the sacral chakra and healing it:
CARNELIAN, sunstone, goldstone, orange calcite, tiger’s eye, amber
what the sacral chakra feels like:
imagine that you’re standing in still water that comes up to right below your belly button, and you move through it without resistance. observe your surroundings. let your limbs move intuitively and fluidly. you are good enough to connect with others. you are not in a box.
loona future career tarot reading~
five of coins reversed;
this card, when in reverse, is bountiful and positive. if it was right side up it would mean unemployment, financial struggles, and isolation so thank goodness it wasn’t like that. this is a good omen for financial security and succeeding money-wise. loona’s company will recover from the debt they put themselves in during the pre-debut solo project. this card represents recovery, which i’ll talk about later in the reading.
queen of coins;
another coin card! their financial future sure is prosperous. queen of coins represents a “providing mother” in a way, due to the coin influence along with the queen influence. their persona in the will be safe and feminine. calm, abundance, and safety will come to mind when you hear the name “loona” (surprising.) their company may introduce another group that will be their juniors.
page of cups;
the connections between the members remain sensitive and fluid. there is an air of romance with this card, maybe some dating rumors at some point. however, they won’t be too scandalous, this card is all about sweet and soft love. tapping into their soft, flexible energy will help the girls.
ace of wands; this card lights up the reading. it brings a fiery, passionate beginning. for loona, this could mean a breakthrough with a loud, angry concept. people love the chaos they bring with them! their image is strong and happiness bringing! their charisma explodes on stage. i’m seeing that performing has a breakthrough in the next few years. knight of swords; the members stay true to themselves and their personal image. while the connections inside the group are stable, each person still presents an individual persona. if and when loona disbands, i see most of the members having strength to continue working in their own ways- either in the entertainment industry or somewhere else. new moon eclipse; hard work is required for loona’s success. it won’t appear out of luck or from exposure by other artists/celebrities. they have to fully cultivate their talent to reach their goals, but once they do, the potential is endless. fame will always be in their future as long as they keep working for it! this career is their life purpose for all of them, and they’re all aligned, which brings good fortune! scorpio new moon; the maturity their career journey will bring is tremendous. while they might always be working through some type of fear or issue, it helps them grow so much. they’ll be one of the most well-rounded kpop groups. people may even be intimidated by their experience as they become sunbaenims to more groups.
