In Doriath of old
Sweeping into the courtyard on his great steed, the King came to a stop before the guards there and dismounted quickly. He handed the reins to the nearest ellon and with a sweep of his riding cloak marched into the halls.
He was looking for his diplomat Celeborn and he was none too happy. Not because of anything the other had done, or failed to do for that matter. It was concerning the activities he had been informed about at the borders bu the scouts posted there. The King had been informed of a group of riders, a handful of ellyn and an elleth, who had attempted to cross into Doriath without consent. The reason for his ill temper? The group he had been told were Golodhrim from the East looking to take a short cut through his lands ti reach the North.
He knew that by not allowing them passage he was asking for retribution to be sought upon him from others of their people, but he was loath to submit to their request. He had been found whilst out riding bu one of the returning guard and had ridden back quickly to consult with his nephew. Hopefully some of the training Celeborn had been given all of these years would pay off.
Do you remember when we would go to the meadows with Luthien and Galathil? I know not of your feelings of those days, but there are times when I wish they could be revisited, if but for a brief moment.
His lips curved up in a smile, eyes closed as memories of old were recalled. Oh yes, yes he knew… And how fond they were to his cracked heart now. For they were still able to bring about a smile to his face. “I do remember, my dearest Celeborn. I remember quite well! The things we had done in those years too! I recall being scolded quite a few times for mischief made.” he chuckled, giving a light grin.

ack, yeah, I've lost loads on accounts that I've been inactive on. But this one I've just been scarce for the past two or three days. Weeeird.
With Much Regret
I am very sorry to inform all of those who are/have been RPing with me that for the next two weeks, I will not have access to an internet connection. I am housesitting for an older couple and they do not have an internet connection. This is why you haven't seen me recently - I just managed to sneak back home to grab some things and to write you this letter.
I will, however, be back as soon as I am finished housesitting.
I miss you all and I can't wait to continue RPing with all of you fabulous people :D
