Come On is part of my CELEBRATE series (link in bio). It’s a big painting, and there are so many part of it that I fell in love with while painting... as an artist, I think that is what we do: we fall in love with the work we create to a certain degree, as we work out issues in the application of colors, shapes and lines. The struggle to make something feel right makes the relationship between artist and painting deeper. Our goal, as artists, is to connect with the art we make, on a deeper level, and we hope others will be able to do the same.
