Is your contact in Level 5 Italian? Sorry for asking but I am too so it would be amazing ;; I don't see a lot of people from other part of the world working at japanese company

First, some disclaimers - I am NOT affiliated with the company LEVEL-5, therefore I DO NOT work for them NOR am I acquainted with them. If I do say anything about this company, it’s based on my experiences rather than my actual interactions with them. (I KNOW IT’S SOUND AMAZING but it’s harder making actual moves on the company, my Anon…)

Second, my contact with LEVEL-5 is in English. I am located in California, USA - My experiences with LEVEL-5 were from Anime Expo 2018, the largest convention in the West Coast. The American headquarters for LEVEL-5 are in Califorina, therefore they are English-speaking American workers who happen to work for a Japanese gaming company <— LEVEL-5

Oh, so we’re talking about Medjed’s popularity in Japan thru cultural context….

It’s funny…even as an Egyptian deity, Medjed has a similar, if not striking, resemblance to Elizabeth from the anime Gintama; they both have an umbrella/U-shape silhouette LOL, so yes it’s very kawaii in a mascot sense that may or may not have appealed to younger audiences, like children. Ehh, just rambling! Thanks for the tip tho, anon!

Yes, the con/expo is an annual event held by the company Monty worked for, Roosterteeth.

Ah yes, I understand now, good o’ grey face. Referring to the RTX 2015 post, are we? Honestly, anything relating to Texas, Arizona, Utah, and Nevada gets me interested, particularly with conventions and cosplay. You could say I see them as a sister state to my state!

Tha custom ginn (the yellow mech) and beerus cosplay shows how long cosplayers came from being just boxes and robes.. so fun to watch.

Ohhh!! So that mecha cosplay is the Custom Ginn, eh? By any chance, is the character from Gundam? There’s a better photo of the same cosplay here! It’s soooo cool!

However, on the other hand, some cosplayers choose to be boxes (or trash bins?) as part of a parody or joke, so most of the time it’s intentional to cosplay that crappy. Otherwise, cosplayers improve over time, which is fun to watch indeed! Careful what you say! (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)
