Celeste gave Anthea a careful looking over. He wanted everything to suit her, so she was the natural starting point. “I’m assuming a white dress, I’ll have to know if you’re wanting something old fashioned or a bit more modern, and what other colors you might have in mind, dear.” Wedding planning, compared to everything else she did, was a walk in the park.

“Er, well, Mrs Holmes,” Anthea began. “Mycroft seems to like me in so many colours, light pink, of course because it’s so nice with white, nothing dark, because it’s too depressing. Mycroft prefers neckties to bowties, so necktie. Oh, and for my dress, I was thinking something slightly modern, yet traditional, not too much lace, no arms showing though.”
"Mummy," Mycroft said with a smile. "We can't possibly thank you enough for helping us with our preparations for the wedding and baby shower. You're the best." Mycroft smiled at his mother, before pulling Anthea slightly closer to his body.
