Futuristic Alien au: some lore

First might call them Celestials just because I'm unoriginal and they are very must in the space traveling stage of their civilization.

There are stereotypes for each variant

Solars: hot headed, loud, impulsive

Lunars: judgy, cold/distant, calculating

Half breeds: air headed, too chatty, emotional

Note these are not required traits for whatever variant you pick. These are just stereotypes.

Military and technology innovation is big for them. They want to expand their reach past their Solar system (they have inter planetary travel down pat). So there is work on making travel to other systems more smooth and not take a generation to pull off. As in you leave the Solar system but your children will be the ones to see the destination.

There is emphasis on being strong and resilient so getting body modifications is normal and cybernetic enhancements are most seen. Prosthetics are also very commonplace. Especially for those with deformities. No one is deemed useless. They just need help rising to their potential. And if modifications is how they reach it then they get modified. (This can lead to some unethical things, yes I'm including some some moots' backstories for this)

So Quarks been dealing with any difficult patients today?

Oh I have dealt with some fussy children with colds and their overly worried parents and someone from the security team who dislocated their shoulder... Oh and someone from engineering who got shocked but some electrical component they were working on

Example of Celestial alien modification

Quarks's left eyes was deformed. It didn't form correctly in the womb. So when she was old enough she got a new eye. It is why it is yellow. She has a cybernetic prosthetic that actually helps her during medical procedures. Built in magnification when needed really helps patching up wounds or with surgery.
