Because the Russos did Peter Quill dirty; here, have a rec. AU where Peter Quill meets Ego a lot sooner and how that changes things, but not really... I love how the story unfolds like a fairytale, admittedly a dark one, but those have always been the best.

I loved the new  movie and I haven’t been able to think of anything other than celestial Peter Quill for the past whole week. Like how can a movie just know all my favorite tropes??

I can see it.. Eternity.

Ever since I saw this scene in GOTG Vol 2 I’ve had this image in my mind. I just had to draw out my own version.  The idea of Peter keeping his god-like powers even after Ego’s demise is something I would have loved to see. And then those powers coming in clutch somehow in Infinity Wars, like he’s gotta hold one of the stones again or something to help defeat Thanos. I just really like Celestial Peter.
