So, now that your girlfriend has thrown a hissy fit and left Flight Rising, will you be following suit?

I debated on answering this, but I decided it was best to address a few things:

Firstly, how big must your hateboner for Rhea or myself be to come to my ask months after my exposure of the Celestial Senate to spew some bullshit?

Secondly, I have no intentions to leave Flight Rising. The only thing I’ve left is Arcane, and only because I didn’t feel safe there after revealing how horribly corrupt its’ leadership, the Celestial Senate, had become. The backlash from within the Flight was tremendous, yet the Out-of-Flight support I received was equally powerful.

Thirdly, and finally, only cowards use Anon. If you’ve got something to say to me next time, do grow up and be identifiable. Thanks.

I haven't really been keeping up with the Arcane drama. I just knew some peeps were spying and had been caught. I didn't realize it involved hacking and multiaccounters and all that shit. I am really saddened that judoon had to make the decision they did, and can't imagine the pressure they must have been in. Yes this is a game, but we make relationships and make it part of our life. So it does hold importance. The harassment they are receiving is ridiculous and shitty and I want them to know I have their back. Arcane is a place i always regretted leaving and now regret that I may not return to. I hope arcane can move on from this and that those in the wrong take their shittiness and leave the rest of us alone.

Most of the Dom leaders have offered to step down?? Not all of them need to though, replacing them all isn't the best thing for arcane, only the ones that were very strongly involved and the most prominent in the whole thing should have to. The others can just regain our trust.

The dom leaders we have seen stepping down are ones that do not seem involved with the drama. So, the innocent are stepping down as scapegoats, while the guilty get to stay.

We actually have a statement in the works that addresses all of your concerns in better detail, so check back tomorrow. I think you’ll like what you’ll see.

Adding onto this in light of the recent leaker reveal:

We are a bit wary that the leaker is allowing the problem members to stay in power even with the risk of more dirt being publicized. Even though it looks promising, Arcane needs to stay on the lookout and make sure things actually do improve, not just trust someone’s word that things will improve.

How low are you to tell someone to kill themselves

If you’re prepared to have the life of someone’s hands on yours, then buddy, you need help.

Since when was it ever okay to tell someone to kill themselves. There is a fine line between a joke and a plain death threat. How fucking dare you tell Rhea to kill themselves. Are you butthurt over drama? Do you need someone to tell you “its going to be alright poor baby.”

Guess what, its a shitty world. Not everyone agrees on anything ever. But don’t EVER tell another human being to kill themselves. On anon too? Who’s the real pussy here? What kind of low, sick, demented person are you to do that. How fucking dare you. You think you’re above someone to a point to tell them that? Its revolting.

I don’t know Rhea. I don’t know her at all. Her personality, whatever. I don’t taking things at face value and all I know that she spreads drama.

Guess what. All she does is spread it. Like everyone else that reblogs her posts.

There are no reasons ever for Rhea to lie about anything and she doesn’t actively search up and stir up drama if there isn’t any. Any drama that has been “stirred up” is based off the people involved in the first place. Eg; Celestial Senate. No one has the time and effort to forge screens like that. And evidently, the drama is caused because the members themselves are fuelling the fire as well as the community behaving in an unacceptable manner. 

Do I enjoy watching this? Yes, yes I do. Cause its fucking entertaining. Does Rhea enjoy watching this? Yes, yes she does.

But have you gone and sent me a death threat? No. Cause you don’t know be even though I’m doing almost the exact same thing as Rhea. I like how you comment that she’s someone who’s 10 years older “bullying” 15 year olds but you must be hella new to the site to not realise the members here are not predominantly teens but instead are a rather even amount of teens and 20 year olds.

TLDR: Rhea hasn’t hurt ANYONE. You’re butthurt by the things OTHER PEOPLE HAVE SAID. So don’t ever. EVER FUCKING TELL ANOTHER HUMAN BEING TO KILL THEMSELVES. What kind of sick bastard are you to do that.

So, it's been slow at work today and I've been thinking. Specifically, about the criticism that we moved too quickly. I do agree, we should've waited until we had more in place as far as infrastructure and community involvement, that was a weakness and we need to address that. What I don't agree with is that we should have given the Celestial Senate time to make a statement. To be blunt, they had 2+ days to make their statement before we did anything. What did we see instead? Cover stories, memes about cute war criminals, and macho posturing about how they ARE Arcane dom and no one can touch them. When they should have been taking responsibility, mending relationships between flights, and reassuring the badly shocked magelets. So we stepped up and did that instead. Because in the end, all we want is a better, happier, more efficient flight dom structure the rest of the site doesn't despise. We want to begin to mend those wounds. Speaking of which, what do NONE of us really want? Power. Hell, last night in the chat (which any Arcane players are more than welcome to join, just hmu), half of us pretty much independently said we were planning on stepping back as soon as a better framework was in place. So framing this as a power grab? Ludicrous. We just saw the many people saying their morale was broken by this spy ring reveal, that they loved Arcane but were upset enough to jump to another flight, and went "That's not right, we need to do something." Which brings me to the crux of this. As of last night (as mentioned, I'm at work and posting this on my lunch break), there was an open planning thread mentioned for Arcane. Which I love! This was the desired result! A paradigm shift into a brighter day with a nicer, more open dom team. Ultimately that's what's going to help up git gud--NOT a fucking cloak and dagger bullshit spy meme fest--so I hope it's working. In the meantime, please hit me up with any thoughts, questions, concerns, whatever! This post is all me, I'm not speaking for the Cosmic Council. I'm just antsy and anxious and frankly still kinda mad over the recent unrest, and more than anything, glad that movement's being taken in the right direction.

i think the saddest thing about all this bs is that some ( a lot? not sure ) of these people are kids. like. teens. and let’s own up to it- we all fucked up as kids, especially online. i cheated at neopets before and what did i get? no holds barred you are now banned. my account was frozen and i was unforgiven. shit, ten years later and i still probably can’t ever get back in. but you know what i didn’t have to worry about? constant backlash from people.

i was devastated that my cheating had lost me so much, but i moved on. we aren’t giving these kids a chance to do that. this cheating is blowing up so heavily in their faces that they don’t have a moment to breathe. yeah, their egos are huge, but again- they’re kids. shit happens. you don’t grow up perfect. this is a big mistake and they likely won’t ever belong to this community the same way ever again.

but god damn do not send them blinding hatred or anything. the shitstorm in the forums, the tag, and the out-of-site shit is already bad enough.

if you happen to be an adult involved in this? sorry dude, y’mcfucked up and it’s time to face the music. game or not, you know better than to treat others like shit.

We've seen concern from some people that some of our members are stepping down. We would like to assure you that we are still dedicated to following through on our attempts to fix up Arcane--but this, like all dom activity, isn't without its stress and we're only human. Some of us have expressed a need for a break, which the rest of the team understands and does not begrudge a bit, and we have decided to take things slow so the situation can calm down and we can work with cool heads towards a better resolution for everyone involved.
