I've seen people fancast John De Lancie as The Master.

Now, this would be a fantastic casting choice, I agree.

But, I'd rather him not be The Master.

I'd rather him play a different Character from the Doctor's Past.

Honestly, if they adapted "Solitaire" as a filler episode with whatever companion is contemporary to the release, I would be made extremely happy.
