I didn’t even know there was drama to begin with. Guess I’m not really part of the fandom then

Yeah, I had some friends who used to be part of this fandom until they witnessed these nasty fights and left it completely. 

You can be part of the fandom without having to be part of the nasty part of it, imo. Why be dragged to this kind of negativity when there are good things to celebrate about any franchise right.

Gosh, I had no idea, since I’m still unable to find that inner fangirl for eruri since Naruto ended. Though I still like eruri and Mikasa is kickass! Death threats, blimey! That’s low.

Mikasa is cool, I agree! It’s just so sad that people can be...how can I say it. Either she’s a saint or she’s a complete demon. It’s crazy.

Yeah, when I read about the death threats is when I remembered back in NF days. We surely had our problems and huge fights with the opposition but nothing close to send death threats. Maybe you should just say it to their faces how they make “caring” so difficult and hopefully your parents will see your point and actually understand what you’re trying to do…parents eh!

That's unfortunately not a good idea since Eastern families were raised with a strong culture of filial piety; aka "respect and obey your elders unquestionably". That also means that you have no position to argue and they will always have the last word. Trust me, I tried. (and ended up fanning the flames)

I agree with yuuko-uchiha, I’ve been in a similar situation (only slightly different from yours) and what I know is that if the environment is unhappy, it’s not worth it when you have to go back 5 days a week or even more *nods*
