Reminders
For @celestialmarkiplier, because she was upset and who better to cheer her up than daddy Wil?
Warnings: Slight depressive undertone? Not bad though.
The day itself was starting to seem like it was never going to end. Sure, there were things going on that could make you a little happy, maybe, but putting the effort into them things just didn't seem very worth it. So instead you decided instead to lay in bed and try to pretend like you didn't exist. You thought that maybe if you made yourself as little as possible, maybe it would actually work. Dead set on doing this all day, you started to close your eyes, but before you even got them halfway closed a couple soft taps sounded off from the direction of your door.
“Who is it?” You were going to say go away, but decided to be careful, just in case it was him. It was.
“Hey, Y/n, how are you doing?” Wilf’s voice sounded soft, but you were aware it would be nearly impossible to lie to him, and because you had yet to master that skill, it would be impossible to get him to go away. But you were still going to try.
“Nothing WIl, baby, just trying to get some rest.” You added a big yawn, hoping it would help make your lie convincing enough.
“Okay, well then you wouldn't mind if I came in and laid with you I assume. You always say I help you sleep.” You humphed, but didn't move. Your body just wasn't having it, not today. The light shined through the door when he walked in, making you curl into yourself more, partly covering your eyes with the blanket.
At first he didn't say anything. He just looked over your guy’s room, then let his eyes rest on you. You could see how much it upset him to see you like this, but it didn't reach you. Not really. Then, like it was second nature he was on the bed, pulling your curled form into his body. You gave a whine of protest, but didn't do much else. It didn't seem so bad to exist for at least a little while longer, if it meant you could be in WIl’s arms.
“Y/n, why don't you ever just tell me you're not feeling okay?” His voice was muffled, as his lips were currently resting on your head, but you didn't have any trouble making out his voice. You could always understand him.
“I guess when I feel like this I just don't really want to talk about it. I don't really want to bother you with it.” You knew you shouldn't have added that last statement on the moment it was out of your mouth.
Wil’s hands tightened on your hips, then they softened as he laid you down, moving with you so that his body was hovering over yours, making you spread out under him. If it were anyone else you would be freaking out, but having him over you just felt….safe. You spent a couple seconds thinking about this, when his lips started to press gently to your cheekbones, your ears, across your jawbone, completely stopping any thoughts you had going across your mind.
“Tell me,” a kiss lands on your collarbone, “is it really so bad,” another on your chest, “to exist in a world with me?” He continues to place kisses up your neck, and hovers his lips over yours. “Is it?”
“Sometimes you just have to remind me..” Your voice comes out breathier than you would’ve thought it too. He grins so big you don't have to look away from his eyes to tell, and when you do glance down his body you do so just in time to see him bite his lip.
“Well then let me remind you, darling.”
