Peering around the darkened forest the pair had stumbled into, the woman would glance nervously up at the sky. The clouds above were ominous as hell, threatening to rain down on the land, and would surely be accompanied with some sort of wind as well as thunder and lightning. Blue orbs shifted towards the small make shift shelter the two had managed to make, though it hadn’t exactly been holding up, as the winds began to increase.
“Don’t worry Lucy...” The woman would speak out softly as she crept forward to pick up a piece of their shelter which had blown clear off the structure. “Maybe... Juvia will walk ahead, there has to be a cave or something... more sturdy than this...” She was doubtful; not in their crafting skills but in the materials they had built the shelter with.
The two had gone off on a job together, it was supposed to be a simple fetch something and gain a reward, but one simple slip up caused them to tumble down a steep slope, the area had been riddled with rain quite a bit that it was an impossible climb up, they’d have to find their way back using pue luck, but at the moment it had been pitch black so the best thing they could do was sit tight and wait.
Juvia shifted uneasily from one foot to the other, as she brought both hands to clasp one another, staring semi-blindly in the direction of where Lucy had been left, just huddled within their little makeshift shelter. They could get through this, sure it’s be hard, but they would. Her concern was more for Lucy than herself, as it usually had been the case.
“Lucy... are you hungry or anything?” The two of them needed to stay strong, and Juvia wouldn’t go down without a fight! Even if it cost her, her life, she would defend Lucy and ensure her safety. It wasn’t as if she had doubts in the woman’s abilities or anything in that sort of thought, she just felt protective and obligated, seeing as she was the one to suggest the job in the first place.
