So, I did a major declutter and depotted 4 eyeshadow palettes yesterday. In the midst of my cleaning, I came across my @dominiquecosmetics Celestial Thunder palette and decided to play with it today. It actually took a lot of trial and error to get the results I wanted. Here are a few tips I learned: * * 🌸To get more potency for your eye shadow, use a little extra primer. 🌸 Cover your lid with either a powder foundation or, in my case, a highlighter! I used a champagne illuminator from @colorescience . This REALLY helps with blending your colors. 🌸Brushes! As I mentioned in a few posts back, your eye shadows will make or break the way the colors blend on your eyes. I used @modabrush from my @boxycharm . It was my first time using them, and I was so impressed! Use a fluffy brush for the all around color and a smudge brush for the crease!! Use a smaller fluffy brush to blend the colors so you don’t have a distinct line on your eyes! * I gained a lot of these tips from @christendominique when I watched one of her YouTube videos.
