Summary:
Derek Hale is an undervalued museum cartographer and linguist who dreams of completing the quest his father began all those years ago to find the legendary lost empire of Atlantis. When the key to finding the lost city, the Shepard’s Journal, is found, Derek’s live takes a new turn.
Me: OMYGODS okay so Atlantis is my favorite childhood movie and I have to say I have read a similar story with Derek and Stiles’ roles reversed but this one just fits so well and is so well written that I have gone a bit googoo over it. It does well with the characters that are present but also hints toward other characters without bringing them fully into the story. Its hard to write a good crossover fanfiction that has your character take the place of the main character of the fic your crossovering with. But this one does exceedingly well. They don't force all the characters into the story which helps to keep the story simple and easy to read. This is a fic written by an author that has broken several of my previous thoughts as to how something can be written and still read well. This author knows the boundaries their fics can reach before they fail and have done amazingly at achieving those boundaries and still blowing my imagination. Highly recommend not only this fic but this author as well.
